No free tier subscription
Not upfront about pricing
Edit: the developer said that the price is displayed when activating the free trial, which is true. However, it does not change the fact that you basically only get a sales pitch and zero information about the thing itself without going through a long onboarding process and also agreeing to pay money for it (activating a trial).
Pay to breathe

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. From your review, it appears you unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to experience the app, as FivePointFive is completely different. We offer a hyper-personalised performance breathwork platform that combines wearable biometrics, AI, and guided breathing protocols scientifically proven to improve endurance, recovery, sleep, stress resilience, and overall health. While Garmin offers some basic guided breathing exercises, that's very different from the performance training that FivePointFive provides. Today, tens of thousands of Garmin users have FivePointFive, making Garmin one of our largest wearable communities. If Garmin already provided the same experience, we simply wouldn't see that level of adoption from Garmin users. We appreciate that our app won't be for everyone, but we hope this helps clarify the difference for anyone considering it.
I’m sticking to it!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review 🙏 We're delighted to hear that the shorter sessions have helped you build a consistent habit. We designed the daily protocol to fit into even the busiest schedules because we know that consistency is what drives long-term results. It's also fantastic to hear you're enjoying the instructors, music and overall experience. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to the team. Thank you for being part of the FivePointFive community—we're excited to continue supporting your journey and have plenty more exciting features and content on the way! 😎
Helpful guidance with a science-backed plan
So I’ve been interested in breath work for a while but it was hard to find a simple and clear process to follow to see actual results. Five Point Five has filled that void. I now have a plan to follow and the consistency is paying off. I just finished my 200th session and notice a difference in my runs as well as my rest and recovery. It takes daily commitment, but the commitment is worth the investment. If you’re looking to dial in your breathing and take your performance and health to the next level, commit to a 90-day session and do the work…you won’t regret it.
