Predatory Business Model
Whatever you think about this app just make sure you cancel when you’re done with it, ASAP. Especially on free trials but yearly subscriptions too. I was a long term customer and stopped stretching. Forgot about the app until I got billed on my credit card. Instantly messaged them to cancel and ask for a refund the same day. They acknowledged my quick response but still refused to give me a refund.
Pliability would rather make money through locking customers into unwanted renewal payments rather than making a product people genuinely want to keep paying for. When retaining a customers money is more important than retaining a customer, that tells me all I need to know.
I’ll be looking for another app that actually cares about its users, I suggest you do the same.

Great app for instilling routine
Never been more flexible, now at the age of 65 ☺️☺️
Beware of Pliability’s “free” trial!
I signed up for a free trial and later discovered I’d been charged $25.19 every month for five months — $125.95 total.
During those five months, I never received or saw a single email from Pliability alerting me that my trial was ending or that my credit card was being charged month after month. I searched my Gmail thoroughly—nothing.
Pliability claims their system shows emails were sent. When I asked them to provide copies, they said they couldn’t produce them or even show me what those emails said.
I canceled immediately when I discovered the charges and asked for a refund or even a partial goodwill refund. They refused every request.
Yes, the recurring charge was disclosed in the signup process. I missed it. But a company converting a “free” trial into an ongoing paid subscription should make darn sure customers know they’re being charged—not quietly collect $25.19 month after month.
My $125.95 lesson: Be very careful with Pliability’s free trial and watch your credit-card statement.

Waste of time and money
After using GOWOD for 5 years, I decided to give pliability a go. What a disappointing, garbage app. It’s way too over-stimulating and difficult to use. The user interface is like a navy tactics board. I like to do my stretching sessions while watching tv or a movie, but pliabiity is like being stuck in a class that you had to give your full attention to. There’s constantly someone talking, every stretch is a 3 min hold which gets boring. I tried to create my own 20+ min session for sleep quality. It kept reverting to 15 mins and every time I selected ‘generate a new session’, the same session would come up. How this costs as much as it does is beyond me. Haven’t found a useful function whatsoever

New Improvements
UPDATE: I previously wrote a review complaining about struggles I had with the app after an updated platform that actually made the app harder to use (see below). Today I received an email about a new feature that directly addressed one of my issues. The app now has a session generator that allows you to tailor a session to your needs. Thus far the feature looks promising, though with some limitations. I was able to generate a couple of sessions that met my needs perfectly. However, when I ended up with sessions that were not what I was looking for, I had to start all over. Once a session was generated, I couldn’t remove a specific exercise that I didn’t want to do or replace it with one I wanted (I was given specific replacement options, none of which I wanted). Still it’s a pretty cool feature that I think I’ll make good use of.
OLD REVIEW: I’ve had the app for a couple of years. Really liked it at first, but lately it’s been buggy (e.g., I currently can’t access any of my favorite workouts because the app shuts down as soon as I select the workout); the search engine is completely worthless (seriously, if I search for an exact title, that should be the FIRST workout that appears, not a random workout that happens to contain one of the search words somewhere in the description - often, if the title is generic enough, I’ll get 50 results and none of them are the workout I’m looking for); and the workouts are redundant (literally, some of the older “named” workouts are EXACTLY duplicated in some of the newer workouts, where the title started with a date). Finally, it would be nice if there was a better mix of movements in each workout / more “full body” workouts. Having 5 “leg day” - oriented workouts in a single week is ridiculous. Upper body needs way more attention. Overall, for the subscription price, I expect better.
