DO NOT USE

This app is completely overpriced and TERRIBLE customer service. Search reviews and you’ll see that it’s a significant issue. Without any reminder from a free trial I got charged $199 which I never chose and caught the same day I was charged by seeing it on my bank account and requested a refund as I didn’t care for the content. They do NO REFUNDS at all. No refunds for processed payments….. well then they do NO refunds and bank on people not knowing they will be charged $199. Complete BS.

A must do

I have been dealing with chronic hip and back pain. After just one week I have been able to walk again without pain. I am so excited to see what it can do after continued use.

Scam Renewals

I used the app but did not find value in it so went through the cancellation process and thought it was cancelled. It then renewed to my surprise at an annual rate. I contacted the company within 2 days of the renewal and explained the mistake. They refused to provide a refund of my $130. This company should focus more on providing something of value rather than collecting money through making cancelling their product difficult. Questionable values for a wellness company.

Response from developer

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear the renewal came as a surprise, that's a frustrating thing to run into. Cancelling a subscription applies to future billing cycles rather than the one that's already been processed, so if the cancellation was started close to your renewal date, that charge would still go through as scheduled.

Unauthorized billing attempts – no active subscription

I currently have no active Pliability subscription. The app is no longer installed on my phone, and Pliability does not appear among my active Apple subscriptions.

Despite this, Pliability has attempted to charge my payment method twice for CAD $21.95 — once on Saturday and again today. Both transactions were declined.

Please investigate why these charges are still being attempted and immediately stop any further billing attempts associated with my account or payment information.

Bad audio and customer service

Audio doesn’t line up with videos. Also cancelling isn’t possible on the app. You have to navigate else where to cancel. Had to file a claim with my credit card for them to give me my money back. Bad audio, difficulty cancelling and their predatory practices made me delete.

Awesome guidance and tracking. Perfect mobility tool.

I reclaimed my functional being through it. Improvements could be made by ensuring at lrast one of the models matches the audio cues. Too many do not (accounting for scaling).

Questionable Business Practice

I purchased their mat for my practice. When it arrived, I wasn’t happy with the quality at all. It seemed cheaply made with a thin rubber mat as the top layer, and styrofoam padding underneath which was exposed, which made me feel like it wouldn’t take long to peel. This mat cost $150, which is as much if not more than a premium yoga mat.

While I was technically able to return it, they said they weren’t responsible for shipping costs to return. I had no problem until I realized that return shipping would cost me at least $100. I asked if they had another option, which they did not. I explained that I was unhappy with the mat, but it also made no sense for me to pay shipping costs that were as much as the mat itself. They offered me a complimentary 3 month membership of their app to make things right. I then asked for a 6 month membership to at least cover the majority of my loss on the mat. But they stuck to their 3 month offer, which I eventually declined and let them know I’d look to find another company to business with.

As much as I wanted to do this program, that whole experience didn’t seem fair, and I wouldn’t feel right supporting them any further.

Hi Mike, thank you for giving us the opportunity to clear up the quality concern, since it's an important one. The pliability mats are built by Dollamur, a U.S. manufacturer based in Fort Worth, TX that makes mats for groups like USA Wrestling, USA Judo, and Bellator MMA, so it's coming from a high-quality maker trusted for elite-level surfaces, not a generic import. It's made in the USA with a dual-layer, multi-density closed-cell foam core designed to resist breaking down with regular use. That same layered foam is what lets it fold down for rolling, which is likely what read as "strips" or peeling to you. Those lines typically relax as the mat breaks in. That said, I know that doesn't change how the return itself felt, and truly sorry the shipping cost and credit we offered didn't add up to a fair trade for you.

Dreadful customer service and policies

Auto renewed yearly subscription without my informed consent.

Immediately cancelled and asked for a refund, met with zero help from customer service. They’re painfully slow to respond and, quite ironically for an app all about flexibility, their policies are totally inflexible.

Not sure how or why a million dollar company needs to rely on scamming users to make money.

Price of renewal isn’t shown in the one renewal email sent out, which went into my spam folder. Probably because the companies trust pilot reviews are 1 star out of 5. Don’t ever subscribe to this app.

Be Very Cautious

I had used the app during the free trial and decided I didn’t want to use it so I cancelled. I was charged $200 and was told I can’t have a refund. Which was super upsetting.

I opened the app to use it since I was denied a refund and it says my member is inactive and if I wanted to reactivate it I would have to pay.

This is by far the worst experience I have had with an app. Do not give this app a try unless you are certain you want to use it.

Tried and tested

Great stretching/mobility

I’ve been using this mainly to prepare and stretch my body during pregnancy and it’s been the best so far. This is well needed before or after a workout for me to recover better and continue having a healthy pregnancy

Clear Notice Promised, Clear Notice Not Delivered

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think prospective customers should understand how Pliability handles its annual trial subscriptions.

I overlooked the end of my free trial and was charged nearly $200 for an annual subscription. I canceled immediately after discovering the charge and requested a one-time exception because I had never actually used the service.

Pliability denied the request based on its refund policy. While I was disappointed, what concerned me more was what I discovered afterward.

The company’s published policy states that subscribers receive clear notice before being charged. However, the emails I received were inconsistent. My welcome email identified one trial expiration date, while a later email stated my subscription would renew in 35 days but left the actual renewal date blank. I shared those emails with customer support and pointed out that they did not appear to match the company’s own stated policy regarding clear notice.

After providing that documentation, I never received a response.

The product itself may be excellent—I never had the opportunity to use it. My review is solely about the subscription experience, billing practices, and customer service.

My advice: if you try Pliability, set your own calendar reminder the day you sign up. Don’t rely solely on the company’s communications to tell you when your annual subscription will begin.

Following this experience, I found other mobility apps that better fit my needs at a fraction of the annual cost.

Stops functioning

I tried 3x’s and every time I get to the mobility test the app freezes
No time for that

Where Warrior Go?

It’s still as awesome as it always was…but definitely missing those 45min Warrior sessions.

Really good app but a little pricey

The apps brilliant, and if you enjoy long calming stretches then it will work for you. It does feel quite expensive for what it is though.

Scammy app

Doesn’t send notifications for renewal of subscriptions. Business model is to trick customers into paying for a full year. App is useless. All stuff you can find simply online.

Great so far

I am really enjoying the 23 min stretch routine daily. I’m finding it easy to fit in my day and I love the pace and the explanations. Too soon to really tell the progress but I think I feel better I have to with these nice deep stretches. Highly recommend

Grateful Athlete and Sleeper!

After just two weeks my body feels so much better and my sleep quality is significantly improved as I’m not waking up with an aching shoulder or hip and needing to turn over. Absolutely amazing.

Greedy Company

I signed up for the monthly subscription and Pliability charged me for the annual subscription - a $200 charge! Now they refuse to refund me even though I contacted them about this issue less than 24 hrs later when I noticed the charge. I am a single, working mom who is trying to find a way out of chronic hip and knee pain. Thanks Pliability. What a terrible company.
