Not good
This app does not recognize when you are connected to the internet. I’ve been trying to change some things while troubleshooting the motor coach system. I’m writing this review while on the internet source that the app says has no connection
Great app
Have used this app in our RV for five years without a single issue.
Unstable
We have only had our new tv a week and using Winegard for working remotely. The app doesn’t connect very well, and is inconsistent. Currently, I can’t select any wifi or cellular options, the app won’t let me select anything. I shut the Winegard down and restarted, but still nothing. Not impressed so far.

Works sometime
I have used this app for about 3 years and in the last couple months it disconnects and resets. It tries to update and fails every time. I have a good solid connection and no problems with any other apps. Not sure what is going on. I only use RVHalo for my Winegard Dish that is mounted on my RV.
Waste of Money
I am sorry I drilled holes in the roof of my motor home to fit the rubbish
App will not connect after update
The app connected to Bluetooth without issues prior to update and now will not connect! Did a soft reset to no avail…
Frustrating junk for customer, grifting huckle for Winegard
Wonky, frustrating , and ultimately money stealing grift, app to website “service techs” to hunk of junk on RV roof.
Easy operation of Trav’ler Pro !
I have been using the RV Halo app for about 2 years with my roof mounted Trav’ler Pro satellite dish. It makes deploying and connecting to the correct satellites easy. And then stowing the antenna for travel is just as easy.
In these two years, I have made probably 20 to 25 trips in the RV which each included multiple deploying and stowing of the antenna. Only once or twice has the Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone got messed up. Resetting the indoor unit (IDU) and re-adding the device to the app was straightforward and well described in the owners manual.
I’m very happy with the app !

Complete Garbage
If I could give it 0 stars I would. The app is so unresponsive and unreliable. Switching between wifi and cellular is painful and a complete waste of time.
Terrible UI
The wi-fi selector doesn't work at all. I have to switch to the old Connected app to get that to work. The tap targets are too small. The UI looks like it was designed by one of those Chinese dev sweatshops, and the PM that approved this needs to find a new line of work. Typical push-it-out-the-door garbage.

Terrible
Every single time I go to use my motorhome I end up having to call technical support. I faithfully pay every month, and then never have the option of just clicking some button and having it connect. Always a hassle. If there is a different alternative, take it! I travel with my Starlink, and that is always faithful. I just didn’t feel like throwing it out the door tonight and decided to try this never reliable satellite. Of course it did not work.

Horrible
Absolute garbage! Created an account, signed into the account added our winegard rv router, and registered the router! Everything was working, next day, says I don’t have an account and the device cannot be registered again now! There IT department is absolute trash
Better but still room for improvement
Halo is a significant upgrade to the outdated and poor user experience of the old web based app. I’m giving it three stars because you cannot monitor data usage with the app. You have to call Winegard tech support.

Want connect to old hardware
Shows older devices but will not let you register them to add WF-AP01
Admin password
App always ask me for admin password but password of the winegard or the app does not work. Impossible to connect….
Does not work
App recognizes and connects my device but when I am forced to register it (which it’s already registered) it says device not found (even though it is connected). Customer Service says it’s not worth using, to connect through the router, which doesn’t have all the features the old App had.

Hi, DJ! Thank you for the review. In an effort to increase security and better protect your privacy we added a check before devices can be registered into the system. Some devices may have shipped before we started the sync. If you contact us at developer@winegard.com with the MAC address of your device, we can manually verify your device so it can "be found" and you can register it in Halo. Please also note, the Halo system is completely separate from the outdated Connected system so previously registered devices will have to be registered into the new system. Also, please note that the new app has all of the features of the old app including new features such as setting the current SIM and having the ability to manage your Wi-Fi network. If there are any functions we missed or that you'd like in the app, please let us know and we'll make sure to get those added as well. Safe travels!
Stupid app
This app so stupid I can’t sign can’t sign up all it does is send me back to the sign in page I hate this stupid app
So hard to use
It’s rejecting every payment bc of the address being wrong. It’s not. I can’t access the internet

I can’t even sign in! how do you expect people to pay for some of the tools in this app when the free application doesn’t even work convince me that the free one works and I might consider paying for some additional features.

Not working, wifi always disconnect
Very bad application, plenty of bugs. The former app Winegard was clearly better.
