Great app and service
The service is a on-demand bus that takes you anywhere in the service area. It is not a “random person” as one of the reviews said, it is a uniformed bus driver in a bus or clearly marked River Valley Transit van. The app gives you ETAs and the bus location so you know when it is coming.
A real game-changer for my whole family!
When I had surgery and could not drive, XtraMile helped me get where I needed to go. As my dad (a senior) was questioning whether he is still safe to drive as he ages, he was able to learn to use XtraMile to maintain his independence. My son is 13, and is getting to practice some of his own independence as he gets to try out going to the grocery store and the public libraries on his own. I recommend this to all of my teen therapy clients and families! Thank you! This service is a godsend for so many!

Great Service
This service is amazing and super affordable. The app works well and keeps me updated. Not sure what the other review was talking about it not being a bus, it is always a bus with a uniformed driver, not a random person.
Not what it advertised
I went into this under the impression it was a bus. It is *not.* it works similarly to Uber, where a random person will just pick you up, which is totally unsafe. A disappointment, especially for disabled people.
Cannot create an account
On the second page to create an account, it always failed by telling „please enter the valid phone number“, while the phone number has been verified in the previous step and there is no space on that page to enter a phone number. I think this is a bug.
