Pictures Have Pink Tint
I just bought the latest iPad Pro with an M5 processor. I use iPads to take pictures of my patients, a vital component of my MedSpa, and I noticed that it made each patient appear as if they had rosacea because it added a pink tint to every photo. When I tried taking photos in the iPad’s Apple camera, this tint did not appear; the tint only appears when I take photos through RxPhoto. I tried taking photos through RxPhoto in different rooms, with different lights, and with different people, and for every situation, there was the same result - even patients with more yellow skin tones began appearing pink. I do not know how to resolve this issue, as I have already adjusted my iPad’s camera settings and spoke with customer support twice, and the issue persists. I may be left adjusting the white balance setting in the app for every patient every time I take a photo. It is frustrating to finally have such incredible technology with crisp, clear images, only for the app to discolor them.

2 platforms. Freezes, pic quality-
I have the new Essentials platform moved from Pro and this is not very streamlined. You need 2 different apps/programs to run half of what PatientPro the old school on did. Not to mention charting constantly freezing when attempting to upload attachments of check off things too quickly.

Their product is very intuitive right of the bat and it is easy to join their training webinars if you need more help.

I have been through A LOT of plastic surgery apps and this is by far the best!! Simple and has everything you need at an affordable price!!
Changed picture layout - no longer helpful
We use this app for our MedSpa with multiple offices; used to be super helpful when we were able to easily export side by side photos to send to patients and now that is no longer the case. Now pictures are on top of each other and it’s difficult to compare results. You can view side by side if you unlock and tilt your device, but still won’t export side by side pictures. Seems redundant when using this for comparison purposes. Might have to start looking for a different option. But otherwise, this app is helpful on other aspects for what it’s needed for.

Love this App!
RX photo has helped improve my picture taking tremendously! I love that it lines up my clients faces to keep before and afters very consistent! Also the staff is extremely helpful! Anytime there is an issue they quickly respond and are very happy to help! I would like to specifically mention Jennifer! She has been amazing!

App Freezes
Lately the app has been freeze ALOT which essentially makes production slow down and unable to submit the photos onto our system
Idea is great…Less than ideal execution
The app is good and the options are great however it’s very glitchy. Trying to chart on a patient and it will just shut down on you or not let you even log in. The photos even on the newest iPads is pretty awful. Some good IT work and this could be a 5 star app.
Decent App — Picture Quality not good
The app is user friendly, easy to figure out and use. Main issue is taking pictures within the App. Bought the latest iPad and still poor picture quality. Now I have to take pictures on a regular iPad camera, then upload it. Pictures can make or break my business, and sacrificing it for poor picture quality is unacceptable. If the picture quality was good, then this platform is 5 stars to me. Also patients have difficulty filling out forms, they get errors and glitches.

Hello Shaayah, Thank you so much for your feedback. iPads are set with default zoom of 2x to minimize facial distortion but, 2x digital zoom affect the quality of the image. Best practice photo app, look no further!
Hands down the best practice before and after photo app on the market! From the moment you download and open the app, you are pretty much off to the races. Very easy to learn, and even easier to navigate the features so you can quickly take great patient before and after images with a few clicks. For me, consistency in my photos is critical, and with the positioning tools built in it's basically dummy proof. I would recommend this app to any clinic or practice looking to take their before and after game to the next level!

Will hurt your business not help
RX Photo is a nightmare. The application constantly freezes, forms lock up in the middle of patients filling them out, and photo quality is not that good. My providers dont want to use it and patients complain about it. Mistake.
Intuitive and easy to use!
Loving how straight forward and easy to use this is! It’s sleek and does so much more than just help take patient pictures. And everything is automatically organized for me. No more downloading and uploading from my digital camera!
Great Customer Support
I just want to start by thanking Jennifer, she has been so helpful and quick to get back to our practice staff as we navigate through busy days and little time to sift through YouTube videos. RxPhoto is a great tool and we are so grateful for it, our patient records are easily entered and accessed. Most of the snags we have had have been primarily due to user error, but as I mentioned Jen has been there patiently educating our team every with step.
