you now have to pay
I used to really like this app and I was using it for a while. It actually got me back into the gym. The app lets you see which exercises use which muscle groups and shows examples and how to’s.
NOW, today, I go to log my workout just to find out I can’t because it’s now a subscription. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER APP. A big reason why I liked this app so much was that it was free. Money hungry. Do better.

Trial
The app is misleading as it doesn’t allude to the fact that once you sign up you can only record so many workouts before it no longer lets you track anymore
Ryse defends transphobes
Ryse recently decided to fire a fitness influencer because they called out a man who posted transphobic comments towards the influencer. Ryse is actively defending transphobia and hatred and I won’t support that.
Needs Offline Functionality
Great app. Probably one of the best out there. But unless I’m missing something, it’s unusable offline. I live in Africa so reception is constantly going out or inoperable which makes the app redundant. It’s my only gripe with the app really.
Everything you need
This app has kept me and my friends consistently tracking our progress as well as holding each other accountable with the post workout summaries. Elements such as streaks keep you wanting to maintain them as well.
