Great Place, Garbage App
I don't write reviews. So when I do, you know it's meaningful. This app is a dumpster fire. In this digital age, that's beyond unacceptable. It never recognizes my membership discount when booking, logs me out half the time, when I hit back it sends me to the home page instead of back one page. If this place wasn't so awesome, I'd ditch them because of this app experience alone. (Talk about lucky.) For the love of all that is holy, please fix this. Until then, I have to save the website as an app snippet to my phone and use that instead.

How does this app have 4.5 stars
It escapes all logic how high this app is reviewed. This companies entire software stack makes me cringe as a software engineer. Ive never gone through sign in successfully on one try and my account is permanently set to a new account so it won’t show me the right options for haircuts. Simply horrible.

Great barber, garbage app
I love S&S, but their app is possibly the least user-friendly app in the AppStore. I’d list specifics but I don’t have all day.
Account Deleted
Apparently the only support for this app is the physical store locations. My account says it’s deleted on the app which states to call the store to have it corrected. They see my account as active but the app continues to say it’s deleted so I can’t do anything. Why is there no customer support for this pathetic app?

BROKEN APP
The app is dead as of a few weeks ago. Nothing shows up when app opens. Deleting and reinstalling app does nothing.

Useful for one thing
The only thing this app is useful for is scheduling appointments. Users cannot change memberships, update payment methods, etc. What is the point of the app and why is there no customer service support option for this company? My cashier at the store should not be the support person.
Great atmosphere
Scotch and scissors is hands-down, my favorite spot. Fantastic haircut, you get a mid month up-keep and great place to meet clients after work!

Needed to reset my password, I did successfully and every time I log in it reverts back to login screen.
S&S is five star, app is negative 14 star
If you want me to keep paying for the subscription service and drinks at the bar, fix this trash app. It doesn’t need to be amazing, just functional. I should not have to log In every time 14 times.
App is subpar
The app experience is incongruent to the experience in the physical location. I consistently struggle to get into the app. Often times it requires getting out of the app and back in multiple times to see my credentials populate via stored passwords in iOS. It feels like they’re using a mobile webpage to give the illusion of using an actual application.

App no longer usable
This review is for the app only! Unfortunately, this app just doesn’t work anymore. It makes me sign in every time and then asks me for my preferred shop, but the shops in Washington DC are not listed! I couldn’t book my appointment via the app, so I had to go to the website. I hate giving 1 star for a service I absolutely love so here’s 2 stars instead. Again this is for the app only! LOL

Start over
App is useless, never lets me see an upcoming appointment or modify one! Lists services from very beginning versus the last one booked (this is backwards)

Great service, horrible app
App is slow, constantly requires re-logging in, doesn’t remember preferences, and often shows wrong information (for example, been using it for years and it occasionally still offers me “first time” offers).

Why so many stars for this APP?
People are giving such great reviews, but it’s not for the app, it’s for the barbershop. Save the barbershop review for Google. This app is pure garbage. I’ve deleted it. Easier to use the website. You have to sign in every single time and it usually signs you out while you’re on it but that’s not the worst part. I like to use password manager to sign in however, this app won’t let you do it the easy way. Instead, you have to copy and paste and even that doesn’t work good.
