Update Lowered Efficiency, Room for Improvement

I’ve been using SR for 5 years. I leave extensive notes on every conversation on the doors I have, HO’s are often pleasantly surprised on my next visit because of my “good memory”. I was forced to upgrade to this SR+ about a month ago, and very disappointed with the update as my most used tasks within the app are now much more troublesome and time consuming. Before the update, I could click on a saved icon to see my Notes displayed on that page, and then click on that note to have it’s section expand so I can read the entirety of my saved notes, which I always take with audio dictation tool so I can verbally leave the notes as I walk to the next door. I could add more notes onto it just by clicking anywhere within the note, which would then be saved automatically. All of this used to take just 2 clicks; efficient, loved it. Now, with SR+, after clicking my saved pin, only three lines of Notes description is displayed and if I want to read the remaining I have to click on Details, and then Notes page; inefficient new steps and annoying honestly. Additionally, if i want to add more notes, I have to click the three dots, and then click edit, and then save; (sometimes it dosen’t save, and when you try to go back to main page and Unsaved Changes notification pops up, and you have to click Save Changes again); all more inefficiency. So what used to take 2 clicks, now takes 6-7 clicks, more navigation, more annoyance. If there’s two pins(two circles overlapping) on a home and the other pin being empty of another HO, I have to click on my saved pin, which goes to a Info page where notes are not displayed, so I then have to go to Notes, and then follow the above steps; all in all another couple steps. When I’m on the doors I want to be efficient as possible, and fiddling with this app after every conservation for something that used to be so simple and frankly didn’t need changing is terribly frustrating. Can this be adjusted? Another aspect that annoys me: When there is just one pin saved versus two as mentioned above, for whatever reason I don’t understand, there’s no way to see what the other HO’s names are. I sometimes leave great notes but forget to note the spouse’s name. Would be really nice to be able to see all HO on title’s again, even changing my pin from one HO name to another if I learn that the real decision maker is another person. On this point as well, it seems the new pins I am creating are not displaying the HO’s name when I click on it, can’t find the homeowner name anywhere under details(some are, maybe had to do with the date transfer and new pins or old pins, still would be nice to see HO’s name on the pins that are not displaying them). Third suggestion: When there’s just one pin on a home, and I return to that home, I like to change the pin someway so I can recall what happened last time(not home, follow up, etc) and the door knock gets added to my stats for the day so I can analyze my efficiency(doors knocked to conversation ratio, conversation to booked app ratio, etc). But let’s say I have a green Come Back Soon pin, and then knock again to learn no one is home, it’s unfortunate that I need to change that pin to an orange Not Home, as if I’m in an area and at an intersection and see the street to the right is nothing but red Not Interested’s and orange Not Home’s I’m most likely going to go to a street with a couple green Come Back Soon’s and/or Follow Up yellow pins, not knowing that there may have been some Come Back Soon’s hidden behind Not Home’s. It would be cool if at the bottom of the pins on the map page there were smaller pins showing the history of pins, so I could see the desired green pin at the beginning, followed by whatever other pins on returns. These “sub pins” would be tiny, but I just need to see the color, not anything else. I understand I can go to Activity page, but I want to see the history right away, and per my points above, I want the app to help my efficiency on the doors, not take away from it. Any help would be appreciated, happy to change 3 star review to 5 if these issues get improved.

It can only do 23 stops per route

If you have a door to door rep that can only do 23 doors in a route they should be fired. A app thats sole purpose is to support a sales team with routes it makes no sense what so ever for it to do 23 in a single route. Even making multiple routes for reps creates massive labor inefficiency. As the routes won’t be mapped to the highest production capacity.

It also took about 4 hours of support for me to be told that and my first question was can it route this many at once I was told yes it wasn’t remotely as low as 23.

Response from developer

Hi there, It sounds like you may be using the Routes tool for high-volume territory management. Routes is limited because it’s meant for point-to-point navigation between specific addresses. For the production capacity you’re after, use Area Management instead. It handles large blocks of doors without those caps. Let us know how we can best help you!

Must have for D2D

Love how easy it is to add leads while knocking doors. Helps me stay organized and stay on top of my leads and area.

SalesRabbit for the win
