About

SaltTally is a salt and sodium calculator for people keeping an eye on their daily intake. Whether you're managing hypertension, heart or kidney health, Meniere's disease, or simply trying to eat less salt, SaltTally makes it straightforward to know what you're actually consuming – before you eat. SALT & SODIUM CALCULATOR SaltTally works with however your food label is presented – salt in grams or sodium in milligrams, per 100g or per serving. Enter the figures from the label and your actual serving size, and SaltTally calculates the salt and sodium in your portion and what percentage of your daily target it represents. It converts between the two for you (1 g salt ≈ 400 mg sodium), so a label from any country makes sense. Fast, clear, no maths required. DAILY TARGET Set your own daily target in salt or sodium, or use the default 1,500mg (about 3.75g salt). Your target is the only thing SaltTally remembers between sessions. Everything else is calculated fresh each time, with no history kept and nothing stored. PRIVACY SaltTally is a calculator, not a tracker. It does not log what you eat, store your entries, or build a history of your food choices. Your daily target preference is saved locally on your device and nowhere else. No account required. LIVING WITH MENIERE'S DISEASE? SaltTally began as the salt and sodium calculator inside Menierly. When it came time to publish, it made sense to give it a home of its own. If you have Meniere's disease, Menierly includes this same calculator alongside symptom tracking, attack logging, insights, and PDF reports for your care team. Search for Menierly on the App Store. SaltTally does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your condition and any changes to your diet.
