Since the update where you can access the entire dashboard, the app has become terrible. Everything takes forever to load. And somethings don’t ever load.

Running on a 17 pro max. Very laggy. Truck numbers are incorrect no matter how many times I change them. Customer support sucks. Overall, there is much better out there for what you’re paying.

Update- it just did an update and all is fine. Logging in with app no longer works. It directs you to sign in and retrieve a code and then stays on a mobile version instead.

Samsara is great but lacks mobile support.
The Samsara fleet app really struggles. I'm using a new iPhone on high speed WiFi and the app constantly has issues loading events, the map is buggy, and I constantly get the "we're sorry an error occurred" if I want to load anything. Refreshing does nothing to fix it.
This is 100% not a connection or hardware issue because YouTube, Netflix, Google Maps, etc. all work lightning fast while Samsara Fleet struggles to display pages.
Additionally, the app does not keep you signed in, so I have to manually type my email and password every time I want to use it.
I love the Samsara platform for driver safety and it works very well on PC but the mobile app is simply not up to par.

Must log in multiple times per day. Very frustrating. Never had to log in multiple times per day with our other fleet tracking app. May sound petty, but who has time for logging in every hour and wait on MFA that often never arrives?
Love samsara but
We love using Samsara in our business. The classic app for fleets is really good. It is missing some features I wish it had, the new version of the app has those features but it is so unstable. It is very slow, it regularly kicks you out, and it glitches many times as you use it. All of us at our company tried to use it and everyone experienced the same issues. We all were using the latest iPhones so it isn’t because of bad hardware. We all switched back to the classic app and it works very well it just misses a few features.

Go Back to Basics-Unusable
Our organization uses Samsara and this company, while innovative, had really did the opposite when it comes to their Fleet App and website. Two-Factor Authentication lacks severely as you can just go right back into the website bypassing MFA. When you do select the option for text message you’ll never get a code. Look, I shouldn’t have to MFA on my phone. When I need to access information ASAP and I have to sit there and wait for MFA to not send a code via text but go to my spam email and get it that way is time
Consuming and time is of the essence when I have to pull video or respond to an accident. Even when the app works, it’s plagued with errors and reloads. You all have bloated your app too much and the backend can’t handle it. Go back to basics and try again.

Speed it up please
We love Samsara as a platform but the latest version of the fleet app is bad. This app used to be so good. A while ago you made a change where the app could do pretty much everything you could do online, which at first I thought was really great. But ever since that happened the app runs very slow. It takes so much longer to load, it freezes regularly, kicks me out and makes me log in, and some of the features just don’t work in the app because it can’t run fast enough to do them.
