The EN has become too socialistic and too many commentators. This is not the same EN from 20 plus years ago. The real journalists have left or retired. Too one sided and too much to the left socialism policies. Cover everything. Bring new journalists who have open minds and report both sides!!

The worst paper I have ever seen. It’s hit or miss on getting on, especially when you are out of town. It’s almost impossible to get them to answer the phone calls for help.

A digital newspaper for under $5 is crazy work! It has most local, state, national, and international news! Plus it has the games like crossword puzzles and even the funny papers

I am often disappointed with the SA Express News limited coverage on local issues. Often thankful for alternative digital news coverage to learn all aspects of local news. What can be done to make it more dynamic and reflective of this vibrant city?

EXTREMELY PREDATORY SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE
I am very mad about the SA Express News charging me for a “past due balance.” They also refused to send me an email confirming the cancellation of my subscription. They have you call a specific number for cancellations and they do NOT send you any proof of the cancellation. Unlike a normal subscription service where you can cancel a subscription on the app or website and get a confirmation cancellation email. I begged the rep to send any sort of confirmation and she refused. The rep said “we don’t send emails ever.” I signed up using an offer for the month and didn’t make the second month’s payment. What normally happens is you don’t have access to the service anymore. However, they started calling me and said I had to pay the overdue $10 balance. They refused to cancel my subscription until the “past due” was paid.

Price increase
Just saw that my monthly billing went up 35% for my electronic subscription. I received no advanced warning of a price increase. A huge increase as the quality of the paper continues to decline. I know you are in a fight for your life against the internet but you are going to lose with increases like this.

Terrible use of anything
The fact you are forcing your customers to this sorry designed site because you can’t get papers delivered on time if they are even delivered is undeniably wrong. If news happens later 6 PM. You won’t find it here. What dis appointment. Change your name to let’s see, “The Old News for S A”.

Intermittent problems
I have intermittent problems getting my e-edition to load. The content is fine, but the app is clunky.
