I got to bootcamp in Feb my loved ones tried sending me letters and paid good money for it to be sent so i could have something to look forward to getting out and each passing day still no letters. they got faster to me through regular usps mail then this. i’m very disappointed in this app, for not only overcharging and not delivering but also on the fact that i thought sandbox would’ve made me feel better being able to talk to my loved ones faster.

My SIT loved it
I read using the Sandboxx app got letters there faster and tried it out. What i didnt know was every time u send a letter they include an addressed postage paid return envelope for your person to easily write back. He loved that. Remember they cant have their phones so they can only write to people whose addresses they remember. Sandboxx makes it really easy

Inaccurate delivery
The app says my son received letters on the eighth but he wrote me on the ninth and said he hadn’t received anything. So there’s a delay they don’t account for it was very disappointing to find that out. I’m also not happy with all the hidden costs.
Great accessibility
I am a totally blind. Mom and my daughter is away for basic training. I am so excited to have an app that I can use independently to send her letters. I would have had a harder time typing up letters to send in the mail and this makes it so much easier. I’m so impressed by the ease of which I can use all of the features.

This is an amazing option is you have a loved one or friend going into the military. During basic training they need all the support they can get from family and Friends! It’s fast and they get it in no less than 2 days as long as the MTI lets them have mail! But it is worth the few dollars it takes you get a 6k character letter and a free picture to send them each time! They get a paper that’s already addressed back you the sender so it saves them time and time is precious for them in that moment

Lifesaver
This app is proving to be the MOST useful as the Mom of a recruit. It helps me feel connected daily and informed of what he’s doing each week on training. I send letters every week and can see when they’re delivered. If you’re struggling with your child, spouse, etc leaving, get this app. Worth every penny.

Letters don’t make it any faster than regular mail and sometimes don’t make it at all. Don’t waste your money.

My first letter was supposed to be written and received by Sandboxx before July 1 in order for my Airman to get it by July 4. Okay. Challenge accepted. I wrote and sent by June 30. I’m an overachiever. As far as I know he never got it. I kept checking and checking. I also sent a $25 PX gift card with that letter in case he needed anything that he did not have access to. No word. Never received. I finally send letter two. Sent. Received. Nothing else on letter one. Track it. Says it is in Virginia! My Airman is at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. I finally get mad enough to contact customer care. They write back that he received my letter and my gift card before July 4th, but the system did not update properly. Then FIX IT! So, I am not sitting here worried that he never got it.
