What's New in Sati
1.2.1
September 15, 2026
What's New — 1.2.1 A small visual fix. Lily pad paths now wander across the pond. Each new walking path crosses the water its own way, with its own gentle curve, instead of running parallel to the one before it. Paths you have already laid are unchanged. -------------------- What's New — 1.2.0 Walking meditation arrives in Sati. Choose a pace: Everyday, Half pace, or Ultra slow. A wooden block keeps time while you walk, so your phone can stay in your pocket, and a bell opens and closes the practice. If you have turned Apple Health on, a finished walk is added as a walking workout. Walking comes to Apple Watch as well, with the same three paces, haptic cues, and a session that keeps running while your wrist is down. Your garden has grown: • A path of lily pads, one new pad for every walk you finish • Fuller planting through every hour of the day, with fireflies after dark Also in this update: • Swipe between Today, Meditate, Wisdom, Insights and Settings • Everything moves at your display's full refresh rate • Refreshed typography throughout, following Apple's current guidance • A quieter, steadier feel across every practice screen As always, everything stays on your device. Nothing is collected or tracked.

How does Sati's 'mind garden' work?
Your home screen transforms into a living mind garden. Each check-in adds grasses, meditations add stones, teachings create ripples, and walks introduce lily pads, visually representing your progress and practice over time.
Where do Sati's teachings come from?
Teachings are drawn from over 230 verses and quotes, including the Dhammapada in a modern translation, and brief words from teachers like Thich Nhat Hanh and Shunryu Suzuki. Every entry is sourced and credited.
What types of meditation does Sati offer?
Sati provides four types of meditation: guided breathing exercises (Box, 4-7-8, calming), a sit timer with ambient sounds, text-based guided meditations (body scan, loving-kindness), and walking meditations at various paces.
Can Sati integrate with Apple Health?
Yes, Sati can optionally add completed meditation sessions as 'Mindful Minutes' and walks as 'walking workouts' to Apple Health. This feature is opt-in and only writes data, never reads it.
