Great Planner App

TaskyCal features all your scheduling needs! It’s a great planner app that works with all your calendar and reminder tools that you're used to. Brings everything into once place.
Cons
A 50% off ad gets in the way of part of the menu. I didn’t think you could remove it, because there’s no x or back button. You can click elsewhere on the screen, though.
Pros
Folders work great, cool features such as adding images. I just wish you could add images from your gallery. I didn’t see an option to.
TaskyCal Daily Agenda and Lists
Cons
A 50% off ad gets in the way of part of the menu. Takes forever to go away. It didn’t seem to want to go away from clicking anywhere.
Pros
Works about just as well as the Android app. Cool folder customization! Just with we could access the gallery for that.

Amazing app, beautifully designed

This app has literally everything that you need to plan your time. It has a clean, easy to understand interface with helpful tips that make it simple to get started! It has numerous display themes, customization features, categories, and options that make planning your day so much easier. The app allows you to prioritize long term goals while also keeping you on track for day to day routines and tasks. Overall, I am extremely impressed by the features of Vervo Task Manager and think it is one of the best planning apps available!

One of the best!

This app has everything you need to stay up to date with your calendar, tasks, to do lists, & so much more! They have display themes, integrations, & customizations. If you’re looking for something a bit more detailed, Vervo is perfect! I highly recommend!

Apple watch issues

No icon shows up on my Apple Watch screen, and the font for Vervo is just two small for the tasks. Doesn’t really seem like the Apple watch compatibility is legit.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We will fix the icon issue next release and improve the font in the upcoming releases. We're so glad to have you on Vervo :) Pls reach out with any issues or requests and we'll make it happen for ya.

👍🏻 Amazing Calendar

Being able to track my events, tasks, and routines from the home scheduler just keeps everything simple and easy.

App is stupidly expensive and unusable

First off, for all the features, their 50% off intro promo is $69.99 for a year. So, $139.98 a year after the 1st year. Other apps that offer similar features have a $69.99 lifetime charge for their premium service. The daily view doesn’t show the start and stop time of an event. And the bubble for the event on the daily view doesn’t expand to take up the whole duration specified. So if you have a 4 hr event at 8 am and a 15 minute event at 10 am it shows a bubble at 8 am and a bubble after that for the second event with no indication that they overlap. Events have a maximum duration of 7 hrs 55 min so you can’t have a 9 hr event for a 8 hr work day with a 1 hr lunch. Events set to repeat daily, won’t delete and when you just try to delete an individual day’s event it isn’t removed from that day, but when you go into it, it has changed to showing invalid day. You can’t have an all day event span over multiple days. Since I tried to create a 10 day vacation by indicating a all day event repeating daily, thinking I could delete the future event from the first day that I came back from vacation, I now have a event showing vacation into infinity, that the only way I can delete it is to delete my account and loose all my data. Any events that are imported from Apple calendar can’t be deleted within the app. Long story short, I was thinking that I was going to be getting an app that allowed my to have additional functionality beyond what the existing Apple apps provide, but I am more limited I what I can do, there are bugs that make it unusable and the cost is out of line compared to other similar apps. I was able to discover all these issues in the first 20 minutes using the app, so likely there are other issues I haven’t even discovered. I’d get a refund for my subscription of this money grab app if that was possible since this is $69.99 down the drain.

Very convenient app

The app was great overall. I’ve been using it for three days and was useful on all aspects of my skin care routines and work out sessions. I highly recommend!

Only App I’ve ever kept using

I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time and appreciate the ease of use it is. Wish under the Events option that it let you schedule events- only complaint. I think it’s still in development though.

All in one app that really works

So far I really like this app. It covers everything from daily planner to pomodoro to kanban/project boards to habit tracker. It is pretty pricey, but considering you are getting several apps in one, I decided to bite the bullet and pay for it.

I love being able to incorporate checklists and/or notes with reminders into my daily schedule, add my habits with a pomodoro timer, and have my calendar all in one place. I love that there is daily view and montly w/agenda view. Perfect.

My only complaint is that I wish there was an option to turn off completely the Streak Celebration and the gems. Even on the simplified option, the celebration is too "gamefied" for my personal preference. I would prefer a simple anyalytics page instead of feeling like I'm 12 years old playing Candy Crush.

Minor Bug: The view panel on my iPad when in landscape mode does not go all the way across. I can see each activity, but I can only see half of the timer that is set for my routines.

Overall, great job! I hope that this app continues to be developed. I'm a little worried as I see that it stalled in development until recently, but it is a powerful app that deserves to be highlighted in the app store. I dug around for a long time before chancing upon this. It was quite buried beneath a lot of data-mining popular calendars and apps.

Nice automatic time blocking planner! Great customer support!

I have tried dozens of different productivity apps. One key feature I'm always looking for is to have the tasks on my to do list automatically time blocked & scheduled into the gaps of my workday on my calendar. If any tasks don't get done today, then I want them to be automatically rescheduled for the next day. Vervo does exactly that!

Vervo syncs events with Apple iCloud Calendars, which is something that some productivity time blocking apps surprisingly haven't done yet (some apps only sync with Outlook or Google but not iCloud, even though they have apps on the iOS App Store). You can choose which Apple Calendars to sync with & which to exclude. You can choose to share your schedule availability with team mates, and it also has an integration with Calendly for those who use that app for bookings.

You can also import tasks from Apple Reminders. I made a feature request to their support team to have the ability to choose which lists from Apple Reminders I wanted to sync with Vervo and which to exclude. Their dev team released that feature within about a week of my request!

One thing I honestly hope to see in the future is the ability to edit these tasks from Apple Reminders once they're imported into Vervo, as presently they can only be edited within the Apple Reminders app. You can mark these tasks as complete in Vervo and that will be synced with the Apple Reminders app. They can also be automatically added to your schedule as time blocks. But it would be nice to be able to work with the tasks imported from Apple Reminders the same way you can with tasks created in Vervo (such as editing the priority, due date, sub tasks, dependencies, assignee, comments within Vervo). I will provide this feedback to Vervo & hope to see this implemented sometime in the future. It's not a deal breaker for me personally, as I plan to use Vervo to create & edit the tasks on my todo list, so I see the ability to import tasks from Apple Reminders as a nice bonus for now.

I also like that Vervo has implemented Goals and Habit tracking, which can be used for both my personal life & work goals!

I'm happy to see that Vervo has native apps for my Apple iPhone, iPad, macOS & Apple Watch (as well as a browser based web app for computers). So far I've found the user experience & feature set is relatively similar on the iPhone, iPad & macOS. This is something some other productivity apps I've tried don't do, as their desktop experience has all of the features, and their iPhone apps are limited in functionality.

I haven't tested the Apple Watch too much yet, as so far I've only seen it used to help me keep track of my daily habit Routines (for example, if I want to log every time I drink a glass of water). I hope to see more functionality incorporated into the Apple Watch app in the future, as I would like to be able to see the Vervo tasks & events that are scheduled today, plus the ability to mark any tasks as complete. Or if I am working on a task, it would be nice to have a pomodoro timer on the Apple Watch to help me keep track of my time management. These ideas would be nice to see at some point in the future, but for now it's not a deal breaker for me, as I don't need to do a lot with my Apple Watch.

One other thing that is very important is that Vervo has great customer service! I have been dealing with one of their customer service agents (Grace) over the past 2 weeks via the chat on their website & via email. I've been asking questions & getting answers promptly. They have been helpful & very friendly throughout my experience so far! This kind of support response is very important to me when trying out a new app, especially if they're receptive to suggestions.

Overall I think Vervo is worth a try if you're looking for a productivity app that you can use for both your personal & work life, and if you want everything to stay in sync using native apps on all of your Apple devices.

The features on their free plan are quite generous, as I was still able to do a lot without having to pay for an upgrade. But once I started using Vervo and gotten to like it, I was happy to pay for the Premium plan for the extra features, plus the ability to have a total of 5 users on my Premium plan to collaborate with others! So you can try it out for free and do a lot with it before deciding if you'd like to upgrade.

(Side Note: I'm someone who reads reviews all the time with a bit of skepticism about if they're genuine, or if they've been left by someone with an affiliation to the company. So I just want to say I have no affiliation at all with Vervo. I just wanted to leave this review with my honest feedback about my experience using the app so far, as I've appreciated the great customer support I've received over the past 2 weeks and I think they deserve a positive review. Plus I'm happy to share my experience if it helps other people decide if they want to try using Vervo.)

Cheers

Vervo

Vervo is wonderful when I come across this application it have help me a lot and makes work easier for me great app

This app is not free- don’t bother

Download this app if you want to give out your data for free and not receive a sliver of a trial to test if this app is right for you

It was extremely useful to track my time.

It's easy and is better than nothing however, there is a problem with the five tasks. I'd rather add a third task into the 5 columns for tasks, so there's is no reason to keep everyone looking for anything. Additionally, I'd like to get an email reminder within the first property to be visible on the bar to provide alerts.

Nice if you have money

Not great if you’re looking for free as you are severely limited in how much you can do without paying, but if you’re good with spending money, I really enjoyed the features prior.

App emphasizes the journey and people, not just the goal

It lets me check in towards daily goals with one tap. Also has prioritized todo list for long term goals. I love that the app is about sharing love, peace, and motivation among the community. The posts that Vervo makes on there give helpful advice on improvements on how to think or talk about things in a more constructive way. I love that we can use the discover tab to join each others goals or find inspiration.

I do have trouble changing the title of my goals once created. I edit but the change isn't saved.
I wish that the stats tab would show us the title of the features that are available to be unlocked. The blur is nice but a clear title would help us immediately see what more features are available to unlock.

seems good but many small issues

I decided to use another similar app, this one has many small bugs and design issues that make basic tasks frustrating, eg: when making a routine, it must be attached to a goal, but when promoted to select a goal, none of my created goals show up (and similar issues in several other places). I can see myself using this app in the future, but as of right now it feels like it lacks polish.

edit: thanks for the response, I look forward to future versions ☺️

Better than Goals Wizard

Wow, I’m so impressed with how amazing this app is! I like it better than Brian Tracy’s Goals Wizard app.

One suggestion - when creating a new routine, please have it to where it doesn’t have to be tied to a goal. Thank you :)

Your review warmed our hearts!! We'll take your suggestion into action in our roadmap! Thanks again for taking the time to right these kind words.

New user

Update : I am only giving 4 stars because I haven't tried it yet. Will update again once I've had the chance. I had ordered the pro version which wasn't working and couldn't contact anyone. Support contacted me recently and rectified the situation so I'm happy it's working now and not to be out money.
