Calendar Does Not Work
After deleting and reloading the app several times, I continue to receive the error message “System was unable to retrieve the calendar information.” Without access to the calendar, the app is absolutely useless.

Well this app is useless. I can’t even see the password I entered to confirm that it’s correct. The same password works on desktop but is rejected in app. Have you even tested with a password manager?

The app doesn’t work anymore. The website works, but the app just returns Error! invalid login. But it’s the same login that works in the website!?!?!??!?

If I leave the app open after the last time using it then I get an error message and have to close and reopen the app.
Stopped sending changes
I made an exception for the day for my children and it did not show up on the school end I had no issues till this week where is suddenly did not report my changes
Buttons in app don’t even work
How this was sold to schools and how it is still broken is beyond me. Can’t submit an exception because the buttons on that page are all broken. “Add Exception” “cancel” and “Back to Calendar” buttons do not work on the add exception page. It’s been this way for at least months and remains unfixed.
3 Days into using as a parent and already annoyed at the UI and UX issues
The constant, repeated (sometimes as many as 10) “your session has timed out” prompts that pop up when you open the app is enough to get you started on a bad foot.
When another parent creates an exception for you to pick up their child, it does not show up in the “Today’s dismissal” section and only lets you know the other parent did what they need to do correctly once you check-in. If I want to know before hand, I just have to pray that everything is right and whatever god you believe in has it right - cause you sure won’t be able to tell it’s right in the app.
Overall, there are multiple confusing sections and options in the parent app which should be pretty simple. SDM needs to work on cleaning up their options and presenting them to the end user better.

Our school started using this last year, and it’s been a big help for us. It’s easy to use and haven’t had a problem all year
Useful for the school / AWFUL for the parents
This is a classic example of an app that is beneficial to the business (the school) and awful for the clients (parents and families). It’s so buggy, and takes entirely too long to deal with. It makes life as a parent of school age children much more difficult than it needs to be.

This is the second time I tried to log in and it won’t load.
Continues to jam up
I have to continually uninstall and reinstall the app almost every time I need to use it. I have an iPhone 14 pro so it is not that the phone can’t support the app. It seems perhaps the app can’t support the phone.
Not bad easy to use but tiresome
This app is OK. Easy to use. Nevertheless it would be great if they could have a button that says "Apply same exception for all children " or select certain children with check boxes to add the same exception. The school makes us add after school clubs as an exception so that's manually entering like 25 or more exceptions x3 kids. If you have more than one kid you'll end up spending a lot of time managing your pickup app!

Terrible app
Supposed to use this app for my daughter’s school and I can’t even create an account. It says when I go to create an account it gives me an “error” message then it says “Unable to generate forgot password request based on the provided input parameters. Contact your school for assistance. I’m not even trying to get a password I’m trying to create an account to use it and can’t even do that.

Good luck
Use this to check my daughter out but constantly get errors that my session has expired despite just logging in. Spins and won’t load, then you finally get to the screen, hit next and boom, session expired. My poor daughter is always in recall.
Having trouble since update
This app is usually very slick, both as a parent, and as a principal managing dismissal for a school.
Since the update, on the parent side, it crashes whenever I select a date to enter an exception.
