What's New in ScoreCap

1.1

October 2, 2026

Built for loud game nights: score with one tap, no typing needed. TAP TO SCORE • Big score buttons with the scores each game actually uses: Board and Hole in cornhole, Ringer in horseshoes, the Kitchen in shuffleboard, common mahjong and cribbage scores, and more. • Need an unusual number? Tap "Custom…" to type it in. • Mahjong now accepts negative points for payments. SPLIT SCREEN FOR TWO PLAYERS • Each player gets their own half of the screen with their own score and buttons, so you can score without switching players. • Turns on automatically in landscape. In portrait, switch it on from the ••• menu. • Racket sports, air hockey, foosball and arm wrestling get one big Point or Goal button per player. SEE AND FEEL EVERY SCORE • A large "+3 Ana" banner confirms every entry, so a wrong tap is obvious right away. • The player's card lights up and the phone gives a strong vibration you can feel in a noisy room. • Undo is right in the banner. Fix a mistake with one tap. • Undo also works after the final point. It reopens the game so you can keep playing. FAIRER FINISHES • Games no longer end when the first player finishes. In bowling, archery, shooting, curling, lawn bowls and throwing games, everyone plays their last turn, and the best score wins. • End a game early and choose the winner yourself. GAME-BY-GAME IMPROVEMENTS • Darts: 3 darts per turn, real busts that reset the score to the start of the turn, double-out checkouts, 301 starts at 301, and Bulls count in Cricket. Around the Clock and Shanghai are now fully playable. • Bowling: turns pass at the end of each frame, pin counts are checked, and the 10th frame gives the right bonus balls. Candlepin and duckpin now use proper 3-ball frames. • Snooker: frame wins, fouls that give points to your opponent, a miss button and break tracking. • Tennis and table tennis: "Best of 5" and "Best of 7" now work, and scores stay correct after you reopen a match. • Chess: tap Win, Draw or Loss. The match ends as soon as nobody can catch up. • Go: log captures and final territory, with komi added automatically. • Checkers, croquet, Kubb and pool: new buttons for captures, hoops, kubbs, the king and racks won. • Backgammon: the doubling cube now multiplies the points. • Poker: one knockout no longer ends the tournament, and there's a quick "Busted out" button. • Arm wrestling: best-of-5 pulls with a clear winner. ALSO IMPROVED • Player order and point history are kept when you return to a game. • The score panel scrolls on smaller screens and in landscape, so every button is reachable. • The game screen hides the tab bar to give your buttons more room. • Invalid scores, like more pins than are standing, get a clear message instead of a wrong total. Thanks for playing! If something doesn't score the way your house rules do, let us know.
