I’m really looking forward to the new app. With the development tools available today, hopefully it shouldn’t take too much longer.
Charged $10 for an unusable product.
This app was THE reason I was an Expert Flyer member. I know I can do the same things (and much more) on the website, but I do 95% of this from my phone and the website just isn’t particularly great for that. It was obvious this app hadn’t had a major update in years, but it was so handy and the info could change my travel day from an uncomfortable one to a breeze. I sure hope they release a new working one. I’ve paused my membership until then, however my hopes aren’t terribly high.

My airline is not included.
This app as of two days ago is no longer working. It now asks for a login but signing in, signing up and forgot password just gives an error which sends you in an endless loop. Will be finding an alternative.
This app requires a log in to use & unless specified, they sell your information. Does not provide general seat information only seat alerts.
No other app has this much information. It’s a bit old but still the information is amazing.
Useless. On May 18, 2025 failed to find Philippines Airline flight.
This app and expertflyer have gone way downhill. App looks like it’s from the 90s and notifications never work. Don’t waste your time.
The app was unavailable on the App Store for a while. When I upgraded to iPhone 16 from iPhone 6, I was so disappointed that I couldn’t download this. I had to use another web provider that only gives 5 free searches per month. But I’m thrilled this is now back, as it was always my go-to place to check seat availability. Thanks ExpertFlyer!

Used to be good…. Not anymore
The Facebook login is not working and when I tried to create a manual account none of the fields are responsive or clickable. iPhone15, ios17.6.1
Facebook login no longer available and there is no option to login otherwise or to create a new account because the app is locked to the one device/account. Can’t even create a new account with a different email.
I find this to be an incredibly useful tool by ExpertFlyer! It literally was responsible for getting me upgraded from Economy to 1st Class (in lay flat beds on an 11 hour flight!) because it notified me the moment it came available, and I was able to go quickly rebook and upgrade! It also just today provided an alert for my wife’s flight and we immediately were able to get online and rework her seats!

For the last month I’ve been unable to login via Facebook. When I try to create and account with my email directly it says I can’t as I’ve logged in via Facebook. But I can’t login via Facebook!!!
This was an app I relied on. As of today, it crashes three times before I can create an alert/perform a seat search. Then, no American Airlines set maps will show. Every single search yields “the request info cannot be retrieved at this time”.
This app is great in concept, but so outdated. It hasn’t been sized up to modern iPhone screens and doesn’t include push notifications, which would be hugely useful given the purpose of the app.
Working again. Good. Does what it should.
App not updated and broke with iOS 17.
