Simple but elegant
I enjoy this app a lot. It’s very simple and rudimentary, but it’s designed well. I’m now getting an error that the developer needs to update for the current os. I hope they do. I like it very much.

Looks like a great start. Hope to see the West coast and Arctic species added. Also you might want to double check your species id's the True's beaked whale has the picture of a minke associated with it.
