No longer works
As a totally blind iPhone user, this app was a total game changer when it came to taking selfies! Unfortunately since the iOS 26 update, this no longer works either with or without VoiceOver. You have to uninstall and reinstall every single time. Pointless.
App is not working on the iPhone 16e
I got my haircut and I was getting rid of you use the SelfieX app and it is not working. Did they shut it down? It’s a great app for blind people. They usually use that need to use that technology for the Face ID to let you know to left right or different things in that nature so you’ll be able to activate the Face ID on the iPhone for Blind people that’s what they need to do anyway that I can come up with a new software update for this app to fix whatever problem make it to where we can’t go and take our pictures, especially we already paid for some of the voices on there. The job said we get the key. The app is not opening the iPhone 16 thank you.

Being honest
This app is a pretty good app it sometimes doesn't capture the best angles I asked my be my eyes app and it said it wasn't the best ankle but it still gives you a general area and a pretty good picture though you still have to position the camera slightly but I think it gives you a pretty good picture anyways but you still have to experiment a little bit but it's pretty easy to take a picture this is a great app for blind people like me

Good concept but needs customization
The app should have a countdown option after detecting the face instead of automatically taking the picture upon detecting a smile. While detecting a smile and taking the picture automatically is a nice feature, not everyone wants to smile in every picture.

the functionality of the app is great, but there needs to be a way to get rid of ads; there’s a plethora of voices for sale for $.99, but not one option to pay to get rid of ads. ads in a camera app it’s just infuriating.
also, the response between when the voice says “cheese“ and the shutter click is WAY too quick; there should be a second or two to prepare yourself.

This is an AMAZING app! I’m legally blind and every time that I wanted to take a selfie,I nearly have to beg someone to do it but no more since I’ve found this app! This app does it all! All I have to do is turn on the app and hold my phone out in front of me or procp the phone up in front of me and let the positioning voice in the app do the rest. To the left,To the right,Look up,Look down, Say Cheese! Picture is taken. A fun and helpful app! Thumbs Up to the Developer!

Every time I try to take a picture all it say is “I can’t see you” but it doesn’t tell me what I need to do to get it to find my face.

I heard about this from a blind friend and thought this might work for me to take photos, (yes, I am blind but I like to take pictures too). The voice directions would’ve been helpful, but the app kicks me out every time I click on it.
It works!
Tried it on my new iPad Pro; voice only says “I can’t see you”, but when it does locate my face, it automatically takes the photo (with flash). Very useful for getting full-body selfies (fashion, etc.). Wish there were a way to remove the ads and to turn off flash feature—then 5 stars!

Its great it actualy works for being that i got an iphone 8 you woukd think mostbif not all the auto selfi apps would work or even sinply display a picture most dont and are stuoidly coatly for aomethjng that should be atockbthis day and age i live the app only giving three stars cuz the cam for some reason keeps telling me left right down diwn blabla if it can see me at all it shoumd just take a bloody picture or have it so you can set it to accept whatever position im in i like to take some pretty starnge poses and with what im donin i cant just move any more down or left or anywere but where im doin the pics ok please fix this

Will not produce a photo on iPhone 4s running iOS 9.3.5 It asks for access to camera at every start which I already set in settings, it directs me through the process of taking a selfie, and then produces no photo. Moment lost! I tried rebooting the phone and still no luck. Useless App for me.
Voice instruction not working after the update and photo quality is not good enough now
Voice instruction stop to work after I updated. The quality of photo also decreased than it used to be with same app before the update. I am not liking this app anymore. If they don't bring the good things back again in next update, I will uninstall it. After all this app has no worth without those core features
