Bad app
It works 1% of the time, and glitches a lot, do not recommend to any school. It is very useless. One star.
Good however there are bugs
When my app was working, it was really useful for checking what I had for the day. However, then after an update it is always stuck on a blank white screen and I cannot check anything.
Glitches very often
The appâs features are great, but it isnât very smooth. The app constantly leaves me on a blank screen, and I have to delete and download again and again. Plus, in parts where it says homework and stuff, half the message is usually cut out, and most of the time the homework never uploads on there, no matter how many times the teachers tries.

Such an annoying app to use!
This app is so unreliable and dodgy. Some days it will work well, and others it will even fail to load the welcome screen. My school uses this app to release marks and lesson plans. You canât even upload stuff from one drive on this app! One star

Tier three behaviour
It rage baited me by refusing to work which is considered a tier three behaviour :((((((((
kicks me out
every like 2 weeks, a white screen shows up and then i have to delete the app and reinstall it so it works again. Its such a hassle logging back in, so i have to use the website and that uses more RAM

I have Seqta learn on a Mac, and⊠well⊠im sure there is way better apps for education out there. Half of the time I need to switch between the browser edition and the app. Kinda sucks, donât recommend for schools. It has made students and teachers lives so much harder. Find a better app! For your sanity!

Why is my screen not loading it keeps giving me a blank screen

SEQTA isnât terrible, but honestly, itâs pretty disappointing for what itâs meant to be. This platform is used by almost every private school in Australia, which means it has massive reach, strong financial backing, and long-term institutional support. With that level of dominance, youâd expect a modern, well-designed, and constantly improving product. Instead, SEQTA feels stuck in the past. One of the biggest issues is how little the app has evolved. There hasnât been a meaningful update or redesign in around five years, and it shows immediately. The user interface is bland, outdated, and visually unappealing, with design choices that feel closer to an app from 20 years ago than something students are expected to use daily in 2026. It lacks modern UI standards like smooth animations, clean layouts, proper spacing, and intuitive visual hierarchy. Navigation is another weak point. Simple tasksâchecking homework, viewing timetables, reading messages, or tracking assessmentsâoften feel more complicated than they need to be. The app doesnât feel student-focused or efficient, and using it can feel like a chore rather than a tool that actually helps with organisation and learning. What makes SEQTAâs situation even worse is that better alternatives already exist. Apps like Compass are proof that school management platforms donât have to feel outdated or clunky. Compass has a cleaner, more modern interface, smoother navigation, and a noticeably better user experience overall. It actually feels like a platform designed for todayâs students, not one frozen in the past. Compared to Compass, SEQTA feels slow, stale, and behind the curve. This highlights how much potential SEQTA is wasting. Private schools invest huge amounts of money into subscriptions, technology, and digital learning ecosystems. With that level of investment, SEQTA should be setting the standard, not falling behind competitors. It could easily introduce a full UI redesign, better mobile optimisation, smarter notifications, and features that align with how students and teachers actually work in real life. At the moment, SEQTA worksâbut thatâs the bare minimum. It functions, but it doesnât innovate, impress, or evolve. When platforms like Compass are clearly doing it better and continuing to improve, SEQTAâs lack of progress becomes even harder to justify.

Whenever I open seqta, it shows me a blank screen EVERY TIME. I would get a notification about an assessment or my results for something, and when I click on the notification, it takes me to a blank screen on seqta. I need it for school, and a blank screen will not help me with checking my results or assignments.
