I often find the search bar coming and going and have had issues of jobs disappearing off of the scheduled jobs resulting in loss of regular income. This has cost me thousands over the years well into the 10s of thousands. I find this extremely frustrating and there are more cons than pros. Will be finally looking for a new job management provider.

Poor tech support and slow bug fixes.
* 1 star due to poor communication and assistance when reporting product faults.
Currently paying $170 a month for servicem8 phone, which is intermittent quality, and also the search feature within the app keeps disappearing, and I have to force quit and reload 5-10x daily.
Been like this for a couple months, it is a significant stress point during my day.
They have no solution or tech-support you can actually speak to only AI when typing.

Best CRM for blue collar trades
I've used other ones. But this is the best. It does everything it is lean and mean and it has all of the bugs worked out of it. I love this platform. Way to go service mate people.!!
Service M8 is a game changer
You can like it for the simplicity or you can like it for the many features. Truth is sometimes I honestly wish I could marry an application, because this would be one worth considering popping the question to.

A recommendation would be to either increase the edit-able time of the notes section or leave it edit-able permanently. With it only having an edit-able time of 10-15 mins from point of saving it is frustrating, if this could be changed would improve the functionality of the app.

This app is absolutely perfect for my line of work, training courses are easy to learn from the app itself is pretty user-friendly and there is a boatload of add-ons that makes this app truly amazing.
AWFUL APP
New release of app last year has brought in MULTIPLE issues and the system is now very poor, (I’ve used this for 6+ years so know what I’m talking about) It’s like they don’t actually use the app themselves and are oblivious to the issues so updates since have been unable to repair the system.
Poor app compared to the computer version
Very frustrating using the app after working it from a computer screen the app needs a lot more work doing to it
Lacking
The iPad application is severely lacking. There is no dispatch board, which is the UI that is used 99 percent of the time. There is no full page calendar. Why even bother making the app?
Top top app!
I run a small handyman company and I don't know how I ever managed without this app. All notes, photos, pricing, anything to do with a job tied into one place for each customer. I really would be lost without it 👍
Suggestions
Good app. Just a few suggestions. 1 - it would be helpful if addresses and phone numbers were clickable when opening up the descriptions. 2 - it would also be great if notes could be edited and deleted on mobile app all the time.

Good functionality, some areas could improve
I enjoy how app based the sm8 suite is, but sometimes it’s annoying.
1. No drafts or saved forms. When you are moving around equipment sometimes the phone switches apps or you get a call. In my experience I lose all progress on my form. I’d rather the option for it to be mailed to me or saved as draft.
2. Working in refrigeration when I do forms there are negative numbers and for the current iOS it won’t allow me to select a negative number. Currently I copy a dash prior to starting the form for it to work.

Great App if on iOS
App works really well if you’re on iOS. However, my Team that are using Android have limited functions compared to their iOS colleagues, plus photo quality and usability seems to be WAY down. Without a fix quickly I’ll have to cancel my subscription

Done an update on one of my phones and it doesn’t allow you to change photographs with the colour of the pens you use or zoom in on the photographs. Real failure on this update.

This has to be the most annoying, confusing and difficult service to use. For the price it’s not worth the stress.
