App hasn't been updated in years

Complications won't work on Apple Watch

Software would forget who I am

Sometimes had to just log in, always when in a hurry

Sesame would go crazy and forget my phone

Other one I bought hasn’t worked at all

Tech support is at a slow pace

Logs out each time it gets an update

Sometimes standing at my door wondering if this is broken before I have to get out my phone and realize that it logged me out

App hasn’t been updated in ages

Only sometimes opens the door when Bluetooth is connected

Can’t create shortcuts to tell Siri to lock/unlock the door

Could you please please please add the Apple Watch into the complications so can be added to the watch face?

Wish the design was a lot simpler!

Easy to use but configuring auto lock was complicated to get to

App very often doesn’t connect

When it does connect it takes a very long time to do it

Solution for “disconnected” and waiting to connect while standing in front of your door is to have your access point literally in within less than 5 feet away from the door

Sesame needs time to disconnect itself from the access point before allowing you to connect thru Bluetooth

If your WiFi access point is over 5 to 10 feet away from the door, then it’s better off you make sure your phone is already connected to your homes WiFi with your Bluetooth on before opening Sesame app

Open your sesame app from within out of range of your homes WiFi (for example: before you get to your driveway) and then unlock it immediately before you get in range to your homes WiFi network

Woke up one morning to the door unlocked and wide open

App reported that it opened at 1am when we were in bed by an app but didn’t show user and it wasn’t one of use

Never got the WiFi plug for it

App crashes more than it works

Connection issues constantly

App has issues connecting to the lock every time you open the app

Sometimes it won’t connect to WiFi

Been locked out my own house twice now

Now it won’t connect via WiFi or Bluetooth so I can’t update it

Took years to ship

Another year on top of that for the WiFi bridge

Device works most of the time, but takes a while to connect

Occasionally loses connection for periods of time

Lack of HomeKit support is the real deal breaker

History no longer works properly

Only shows when I last opened or closed the locks from my phone

Latest update logs out repeatedly

Logged out after each use of the app

Have to log back in for each use

Intermittent, which is not the description you want for the front door lock

Auto Unlock works about 60% of the time

Pretty rare that it won’t connect at all, but it’s happened

Sometimes it will just decide to unlock when I’m upstairs in my house

User management through the app is a bit intermittent as well

Often, I will get a time out error that it’s not connected to the “candy server”

I’m having nothing but problems with this

Can not reliably leave my keys at home thinking this will unlock

50% of the time I try to use it or more, it will connect, but won’t unlock the door

Sit in front of the door, like an idiot trying reconnect via BT or WiFi hoping it’ll make the little buzzing sound

When trying to connect via Bluetooth it cycles between connected and disconnected

Only took me 1 minute to open the stupid lock because I’m used to turning BT and WiFi on and off to trick the app into connecting

Order will take forever and you’ll only receive half the product

Suddenly can’t connect with the app

Fried up motor won’t let me open the door

Watch face times out/sleeps before it connects to the lock, using Bluetooth

Dog walker can only intermittently un/lock the door

Support link in App Store asks for login information

No option to start a new account

iTunes account info isn’t working

Website on my phone doesn’t have a link to sign in or create an account

App is not iPad enabled

App is not landscape mode enabled

Sometimes it doesn’t work

Apple Watch app works now

New Apple Watch keeps giving an error message that I don’t have a Sesame account

App should support Siri, HomeKit and have a watch app

New update left me unable to connect via Bluetooth

No longer connects to my phone via Bluetooth after the last update

Rendered useless

Works with Siri where?

Bluetooth connection is awful

Find myself standing at my door knocking on my phone in my pocket and nothing happens

Notification saying “knock knock is ready” but it doesn’t work

Open the app for it to say “disconnected” even though I’m standing on the other side of the door

Eventually it connects and I can unlock

No HomeKit support

No Apple Watch app

App itself is very slow

Don’t want to control it away from home

Relies on Bluetooth

Inconsistent

Usually entering through my garage and inside my house before it ever unlocks

Every time there is a software update I have to enter my account/password again because it resets it

Currently still no wifi feature available

App keeps logging me out every other day

Have to login to open my door

Don’t understand why I have to open the app to use the widget for unlock and lock

Should be able to send the unlock call from it without me going through your whole app

Auto and knock features never work

Company still hasn’t given me my WiFi access point that I ordered now....3 years ago

Software just keep getting worst and worst staining the experience with troubles and customer service calls/emails to get stuff fixed

Even with that it is still not enough

Works exactly as I expected every time

Will no longer allow to add a guest

Says “failed” every time no matter what I do

Primary feature for me to get this

WiFi access points but that doesn’t seem to exist

Can’t invite someone unless I am within BT range which is not useful

Internet adapter never shipped

Horrible customer service

Was supposed to receive my wireless unit over a year ago

Keep telling me that it is going to be delayed

App crashes on me everytime I open it after about 3-5 seconds

Issues since iOS 11 update

For the last few days since I updated my phone to iOS 11 there have been issues connecting to the lock via the app

App does not send a verification email to my email address

Cannot access the device

App also does not allow me to thetic it using Facebook

Have a device but no way of getting it to work

1 out of 2 works sometimes

Started automatically trying to close every 20 seconds

Lost half of the 5000 hour battery life within a week

Contacted support over eight hours ago and have yet to receive a response

Took me and an assistant many hours over many weeks to get a response and a unit that works

Opens about 1/2 of the time

Apparently unlocks the door (not good)

About 1/3 of the time it unlocks and then locks the door again before you can get there

Last update seems to drain the battery with background activity

Even with my app closed and knock to open off, the app is close to the top in my battery usage/shaming list

Widget disappeared from the Notification Center

Can't add to it anymore

App constantly logs me out when I'm away from the house (or out of Bluetooth connectivity range)

Constant error stating that my fingerprint login failed

App deletes my email every other time I want to log in

Multiple people being logged in (even if they are a "guest") seems to cause the previous stated login issues to occur

Product is worthless

Tried to deal with the issues but it's obviously a complete waste

Better off buying one from a big-box chain that has gone through proper quality testing instead of using end-users as guinea-pigs

Works for manually unlocking. That's it.

Beta app that has been in beta for nearly a year? now doesn't work.

Majority of the time it only auto-unlocks my door after I get home and have set my phone on the counter motionless for 5-10 minutes.

Poo software and even poor server from the company

Stopped working

Batteries seem to still have a charge how ever it don't turn on

Ticking noice in the sesame

Torque on the Sesame device could be stronger

Notification Center: this product seems like a no-brainer as far as the Notification Center is concerned

Productivity would go off the charts if we could choose one or two Sesames whose status is displayed and controlled in a Notification Center widget

Unlock the door without ever even opening the app!

App has received multiple updates since version 0.9.2 was posted October 22nd

App seems very well put together from the limited things I can do without actually pairing a Sesame with it

App does not work because the device that it is supposed to be for has not shipped to its Kickstarter backers

Simpler interface design

Easier navigation to settings

Improve guest access date setting clarity
