Missing cycles
Pay a monthly/annual subscription on the site and most of the cycles aren’t even available in the app… defeating the point of using the app at all.
Programming is great, as always, this review is just for the app

Great potential
Recently started this programme coming from a functional bodybuilding programme. Really like training their philosophy and science based approach. I don’t really fit into their demographic (all the guns a bit off putting tbh!!).
Whilst the training programme is great/ the app experience isn’t. Feels like it’s been launched too early before necessary QA checks. Too many issues to go I to here but I’ll prob revisit in a few months once fixed. Value isn’t there at the moment due to the UX issues making
It frustrating.

From the outside this app sounds great and boasts some really cool features but I don't use wearable monitors (yet) so I can't speak on those. My review so far is based on basic use, app exploration, and comparison to the old app. The new app doesn't have the next set of cycles I was really looking forward to starting (I'm aware some still need to be transferred over, so fingers crossed). While using the nutrition programming, some meals do not provide cooking instructions for that meal. It seems to be an issue only with meals that do not have an image. With the shopping list function, I noticed that some ingredients in the meals I selected for the week were not added to the list (spices, broths, etc.) and all the items in the list are not categorized by item type (protein, vegetable, diary, etc). They all just fall under "other". Having to re-establish all my maxes for every lift is a bit of a headache as well, since historical data from the old app profile is not transferred. I believe a search function in the comms chats would be beneficial as well, since soon there'll be hundreds of messages/questions and searching for a topic already discussed would be better than asking a question that's already been asked. I'll be continuing to use the old app until it sunsets but I have great hope for this app. I look forward to changing this rating and review.

All items are also measured in lbs/oz, including items normally measured individually (like eggs), regardless of whether I’ve selected to measure by volume, grams, or ounces. Great app with unreal programming
I’ve been using Soflete for around 6 months now, the progress I have made has been unreal. I’m smashing my quarterly fitness tests and feel much more confident in my abilities to preform as a first responder. The app itself is easy to use and follow, workouts are backed up with demonstration videos and clearly explained and there’s several cycles for you to choose from dependent on your weaknesses. The only thing I think the app could benefit from is a button on a workout with a substitution list. For example if a workout consisted of sandbag bear hug carries, and you don’t have access to a sandbag, a list of alternative exercises and what weight to use to hit the correct stimulus would be great.
