Horrible app!
Waste of money and time. Paid for a subscription and was shown the same individuals that I could have seen without paying. No matches for US and Canada. You can’t message people without paying, filters don’t work, all around it’s a horrible experience. App is as useless as the website. I didn’t pay for VIP and someone claiming to be from shaadi.com went out of their way to screenshot my profile, message me on WhatsApp and even called me. From that moment, I felt unsafe on this app, let alone having my photos on there. Enhance your filters and actually make the website and services accessible to people who may not be able to afford them. If I could give it a zero rating, I would.

Won’t recommend to anyone
I won’t recommend this service to anyone, they are just here to grab money out of people’s hopes.
Try your luck with the free services, but don’t let your mind convinced by the people who will call you after a week just to check in with you and ask you to buy memberships, they will also give you a fancy speech and at the end will tell you explicitly that they are not salesman but a professional consultant. I was called by one of them, and told that the VIP consultant will call you at your preferred time and check with your matches and interests, but my consultant never tried to contact me on my given time since I was in a different time zone except few calls where he wanted to say that I am working on it on 2 of the interests which he never followed up until the expiration of my membership. This is just a part of my journey with their VIP service, the whole thing is deeply disappointing.
Beaware people, don’t waste your money in this, I am happy for those who got their matches but there are lots of biases involved and no transparency. I will say do whatever you have to, go on dates, involve friends and family and find the real match. You won’t be satisfied by this algorythm and stranger person talking and approving on your behalf.
I wish i had listen to my friend earlier who told me he feels this app like a scam, i wouldn’t have wasted my money.

Works at its own will. Communication is very slow and intermittent.
False Marketing
If you are in the USA or Canada avoid Shaadi.com especially their VIP Service. They don’t have any good profiles charge exorbitantly and service levels are dismal. Very Poor service. All talk and hot air.

I registered on Shaadi.com on 08/04/26 at approximately 6:00 PM CST using my verified U.S. phone number. Within hours, I received unsolicited WhatsApp messages from multiple matrimonial businesses. One of those businesses has informed me that an agency provided my contact information. I never registered with these businesses.
How personal information was shared, sold, disclosed, or transferred to any affiliate, agency, lead provider, marketing partner, or third party. You guys are verified my phn number too. Can you explain ?
