Data sharing
I registered on Shaadi.com on 08/04/26 at approximately 6:00 PM CST using my verified U.S. phone number. Within hours, I received unsolicited WhatsApp messages from multiple matrimonial businesses. One of those businesses has informed me that an agency provided my contact information. I never registered with these businesses.

My experience with Shadow.com was extremely disappointing. The service did not meet my expectations at all. I experienced poor performance, reliability issues, and the overall experience was frustrating. Customer support was not helpful in resolving my concerns, and I did not feel that my issues were taken seriously.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service. There are better alternatives that provide more reliable performance and better customer support. I regret spending my money on this service.

Bad Experience more felt like aggressive marketing
When I joined I directly opted for premium, but marketing guys started calling me aggressively to ask about my experience , journey and lots of personal question for which I was never ready to entertain because I was not desperate to get married in one month after downloading app with the help of so called vip counseller. So I had almost bad arguments with the guy who used to call me every day saying I am your vip consellor and I was to ask where are you lacking behind? I mean disgusting you can go personal to girls who are not desperate and who is just taking time well along story short. They did something in their system so I started getting NO REQUESTS as if my profile to others became invisible due to this marketing guy arguments. They have scammed me. I paid for 3 months and deleted in 1 months.

Fraud app
My experience with Shaadi.com has been extremely disappointing. I paid around $250 CAD for their Diamond Plus Membership because they heavily advertise a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. The promotion makes it sound like if you don’t find a suitable match, you’ll get your money back.
However, after purchasing the membership, I discovered that there are numerous hidden conditions that are not made sufficiently clear before payment. When I requested a refund because I wasn’t satisfied with the service, my request was denied based on requirements that were only pointed out afterward, such as sending a minimum number of interests, waiting 30 days, and meeting several other eligibility criteria. This felt very misleading.
In my personal experience, I also found that many of the profiles I interacted with appeared inactive or not genuine. I received very few meaningful responses despite actively using the platform. I expected a premium matchmaking service, but instead I felt I was paying for access to profiles that did not lead to real conversations.
I feel like I lost $250 CAD on a service that did not deliver what I expected. The money-back guarantee attracted me to purchase the membership, but when I actually needed it, it came with so many restrictions that it became practically useless for my situation.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a paid membership read every term and condition carefully before paying, especially the refund policy. Don’t rely solely on the “30-Day Money Back Guarantee” advertising without understanding all of the eligibility requirements.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Shaadi.com and regret purchasing the membership.
