Sound therapy against tinnitus – comfortably via smartphone app Stimulation with sounds and noises is a common therapy approach for tinnitus. However, not every tinnitus is the same - people benefit individually from different forms of sound therapy. Find out which sounds can bring the best relief for your personal tinnitus. "Shades of Noise" combines a wide range of sounds and noises, varying from surf sounds to simple tones. You are the one who decides when to listen to which sound to soothe your tinnitus - towards an individualized tinnitus therapy. This app is part of a research project of the Tinnitus Research Initiative (TRI), the University of Regensburg, Germany, and the University of Würzburg, Germany.
