Excellent for journeying too!!
This is a great app if you want to journey without drumming or rattling yourself. I use it often and have been using it for years. I’m so glad to have it!
Settings
When tapping the Settings Gear, the app closes now. Used to work great and could change Calkback and duration of the drumming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded this app about 10 years ago and used it quite a bit for entering “gnosis” states of mind, before deep prayer or meditation. It was excellent then and, as I see now, even better. The developer has broadened its usefulness and application parameters. What a kind gift for those looking for a quality app that helps induce shamanic trance. I’m so grateful the developer has kept this app “alive” and has even improved it! I Highly recommend it for those seeking to access the largely obscured, yet unmistakably recognizable “clear light” mind that we all possess. In this state of mind, be careful. Perfect
This app is basic and exactly what I needed. There’s no random stuff you didn’t ask for, and no ads. It’s perfect for meditation, including different styles of drumbeats, with a few different options. I highly recommend for mediation and journeying.
Shamanic journeys
This beautiful app helped me with mine Shamanic journeys already. It very easy to use with multiple different tracks to choose from. The only thing missing is a journal so you can log your information away.
Needs a 7 minute option
Wonderful app. Intuitive and simple to use.
My only problem is that the 5 minute setting is too short, where I am just getting into the journey, and the 10 minute setting is too long, where I'm falling asleep or have trouble remembering what occurred.
Would love to see a setting in between the two, say 7, 7.5, or 8 minutes.
A small thing but it will make a big difference.

Excellent for Shamanic journeying
My wife & I are practicing shamanic healers/teachers, & have been using this app for a couple years now personally & professionally, & highly recommended it! I especially love the call-back & tempo features,

No background listening
Dunno what its like , wanted it to listen to whilst using a 2nd app. Not much to ask ...

Honestly and unfortunately this app is crap and the drums sound horrible.
Noisy background
Despite an earlier review, shamanic journeying does work and I am not here to judge that. Yes, it takes effort, but is that such a problem. Let's move beyond the 'something for nothing society'. We are beginning to see the effects of that attitude on our planet. The more you put in the more benefit you will receive.
If you want to start shamanic journeying get the introduction book by Sandra ingerman. It comes with a drumming and rattling cd.
So about the app. Sadly the drumming track has some sort of electrical interference in a few places. I had just reached a peaceful state and along came a crackling noise. Suddenly I was back in normal reality and had not done the correct return sequence. This can be very disorientating. I have the second version of this app which is better and has no noise.
If you are the producer of this app please sort out the noise issue. While you are there, why not give the user the option to select a 10 minute, 20 minute or 30 minute session. Most beginners will not manage 30 minutes and will be put off. Also, allow the natural sounds on both app version to loop so that you can have longer session (user selected).
Stick with learning to journey. It will change your life in very good ways.

Freezes up with in a few seconds. Drums are horrible. Don't waste your dollar. :(

Exelent program
This program provides a perfect rythm for Shamanic journeys.
Can't believe I was charged money for this crap
Until the recent upgrade, this app froze my iPhone. The drumming volume is low and can't be raised. The tune doesn't resemble anything shamanic and is simple, boring, and repetitive.
This app crashed my iphone
there is something fishy about this app - crashed my iphone...tried again...crashed again. not the journey i was expecting.
