Although my boyfriend and I had a minor issue with our paddle boards, ShareKayak was incredibly helpful and very quick to rectify the situation. Overall, had a great time and was very easy to navigate the app, as well as use the services. We will definitely coming back to use!
Way Overpriced
$50 for 2 hours??? I was so excited to see these accessible kayaks at our local park. The app wasn’t even terrible to sign into. But for that price? Forget it!
Awful
Kayaks placed in place with bad signal and bad wifi. Hard to find time spent on kayaks, hard to find active rentals, and takes too long to process putting the kayak back.
You Need to be Patient
Information on hourly rental rates can be seen after you scan the kayak or SUP you’re interested in using. Choose, pay, then your kayak unlocks. The equipment box containing paddles and PFD’s is unlocked as well. Paddles come in 2 pieces, make sure they fit together before locking the box back up. PFD’s are in adult or kids size so not a lot of variance in sizes but they were clean and in great shape as were the kayaks.
Allow a few minutes before your end time to get your equipment returned, locked and photographed so you are not charged for running past your end time. The App keeps track of time left on your rental. The process worked well for us with no glitches.
