Dates can’t be entered
Tried to set up the app to document taking delivery of a vehicle after NOT using it upon shipping it. Cannot enter shipping or receiving dates accurately. Junked the app

Bug requires mail app
This app requires you have Apple’s native mail app installed. If you don’t, you’ll receive an obscure message about missing email and unable to complete the report. The app should be update to use the default mail app configured by the user, or update the error message to make clear the issue is Apple’s default mail app must be installed.

This is the second time we shipped a car across the country with Ship A Car Direct. Both experiences exceeded our expectations. The cars were picked up when promised and delivered as promised. This app is a stress relief. To actually know you take care of your personal belongings and to pay for a service then having to dispute your vehicle unknown damages due to carelessness by the shipper is a great tool for accountability.

This app is great! It’s really user friendly and easy to navigate. It walks you through how to take all the photos and is in depth but not overly cumbersome. You can tell this company cares about what they are doing and wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. I highly recommend this app!

Buggy app
Could not send photos as I got “email not configured” message although my email address was entered. No way to save the photos on the iPhone. No way to transmit the PDF file. No reply from customer service via email.

This doesn’t work for me doesn’t recognize my email even though I have the email app.

Super forward to use and I like that I was able to have an instant pdf of all the labeled photos in my email , documented and mailed to shipacar

Very user friendly. Yes, you do need to enter a valid email address so that you can email in a pdf with all of your photos. Photos are also time and location stamped.

The problem the previous reviewer described can be resolved if you set up an email account on your phone using the “Mail” app.
Doesn’t work
The app seems to work great ... until you’ve done all the work and try to submit your photos. It repeatedly pulled “email not configured” errors despite me entering all of the required information correctly.
The company is aware of this issue and suggested I reinstall the app and try again. Same problem. Ended up having to take the suggested 12 photos three times (because the app doesn’t save the photos to your camera roll) and email them to the company directly. Complete waste of time.
