Be cautious

I downloaded this app because it was promoted through my union as a cashback benefit. The interface is extremely unclear, and it is very easy to unintentionally convert your own money into non‑refundable digital gift cards without realizing that you are making a purchase. I ended up with over $400 in gift cards I never intended to buy. When I contacted support, they repeatedly blamed “user misunderstanding” and refused to acknowledge that the design allows accidental transactions. Their position is that tapping a button equals full authorization, even if the user did not understand they were buying a gift card. No refund, no flexibility, no accountability. Use with extreme caution.

Thank you for your feedback. For clarity, Shopr Rewards works by allowing users to purchase digital gift card value within the app in order to earn instant cashback. Each transaction requires several steps including selecting a retailer, entering an amount, reviewing the details, and confirming the purchase by clicking "Confirm Purchase" before it is completed. The value from these transactions is not lost — it remains fully available in the user’s account as digital gift cards that can be used with the selected retailer. If the app has been removed, access can be restored at any time, or we can securely resend the gift cards for use. Our support team has been in direct contact and has provided detailed guidance, and we remain available to assist further in accessing and using the full value.
