Is now totally in operable, and probably has been for months

This app does not work at all. It will not control your computer or offer a single productive use. Don’t download it.

Does Not Work as Advertised

The app simply does not work as advertised, and after I contacted the developer 6 times, I have realized that not only does it not work, but you can count on being ignored by the developer if you request help.

In my opinion, an app that is not supported by it’s developer has no place on the App Store. I will be reporting this developer to Apple.

App simply will not work

This app seemed to be the solution to my problems but no. Despite having to physically add the add in accessibility myself and adding the iOS app this doesnt work. My homepods think its worked and carry out the shortcut but it doesnt do anything to my mac. Very poor information and clarity when installing. Waste of money!!!

It mostly works... mostly...

This seems like a great app, and it could be, but there are some issues...

It generally connects right up, but I wish the connection settings were accessible. Small complaint, but running this one two Macs is an instant headache.

Remote actions. About half of the advertised features work. AppleScript is, notably, not among the functional features.

Still Intel based. This is nitpicky sure, but it's the only non-Silicon app on my M1 MBP and I have to think that contributes to the instability of the app (it sometimes just silently crashes for seemingly no reason).

This app is a good idea but the exicusion isn't fantastic. Perhaps the next version will be better....

Hardly works

I looked at this app because Siri on the HomePod doesn't invoke my Mac for shortcuts, and I really wanted a way to invoke them on my mac from other devices. I got this app after seeing that it supports running AppleScript remotely, thinking I could just write an AppleScript command to invoke the shortcut as a worst-case scenario. I ended up finding out that shortcut actions often get lost and never fire, and for AppleScript specifically, *never* works, even when verifying it comes in on the history. Trying the exact same script in the script editor and osascript terminal command works fine, but through this app, it doesn't do anything. I'd rather make my own implementation that always works than use one that might or might not.

I JUST started an Xcode project to try building this exact functionality

Thanks for beating me to it!

App Does Work But...

... The Security dialog when you install needs fixing. It doesn't tell you permission has been granted in Accessibility - at least not on Big Sur 11.1 on Intel. (You also have to manually add the app to the list with the button in the Accessibility fialog.)

I say "does work" because I successfully tested with "Speak text" on iPad OS 14.3. (This an original 12.9" iPad Pro.)

I'll probably write another review when I've actually played with the Shortcuts support.

I found out how to add it to the Privacy page and grant the app permission.

Your app is amazing!!

this works great for me

being able to control my mac using siri on my homepod, and the shortcuts app in general is a dealbreaker for me!

App Doesn't Work

It asks to allow permission in the settings, but once you do this. It just asks you to do it again. Even when restarting the app itll continue to say the same.

A great start

This app has a ton of potential! I’m impressed with the features it already has, and I can’t wait to see if the developer will add more. I’m having trouble getting my Mac to do things on my phone(s), but it might just be user error.

doesnt work

this app does not work yet, I have allowed access in settings and still does not work
