Very good and useful, can be improved
I like this app and browser extension so much. It is very good and useful but i can see room for improvements to make it even better:
1. For people like me who are using two Bitly accounts, one for personal and one for work shortlinks, it would be a game changer if i was able to switch between those two accounts a cnd choose which will be used to shorten
2. The Chrome/Chromium extension needs a different color for the icon otherwise , when applying the dark theme is is impossible to see it in the browser's bar

Works seemlessly
Have been using this or some time every day, adding shortened URL's to my PKM notes keeps thinks neater and more condensed,

I used Shortshare to make a link for a promo image. A few days later I opened the image and clicked on the link only to receive a message that the link had expired. Really? Uninstalled! I cannot have links to a sales page expiring.

This is a great tool! I downloaded this after my favorite URL shortener’s links began to break and not lead anywhere… Yours has been a game-changer! Hasn't worked once
Requires accounts with other services. Opens a nice little window on my desktop but, sadly, has not converted a single URL. Waste of money.
Nice app if you're tech savy, otherwise, impossible..
I bought this because I need a URL shortener, and all this does is state "Failed to create Shortio link, Invalid domain name". I have no idea what that means, nor do I have any idea of what URL shortener services are. I tried to select one and it opened to a list of API Tokens, which led to more time spent messing around with technical information I don't have time to learn about. There was no indication that this app is intended for those who have knowledge beyond what's need for a Safari extension. Had I known I would have passed it by, as it is, it's useless.

Rip off! Do not buy!
Does not work! Gives a error message for every link I try to shorten. So disappointed. If you want to throw away money this is the app for you. Better off sticking to the big guys, TinyURL, bitly etc.

If the app does not work for you (which would be odd, since it does for many customers), you are free to request a refund to get your money back. Certainly, the app is not a "rip off".

Does not work
The app simply does not work on my Mac. It will not open, will not create links, will not do quite literally anything but make an appearence in my safari browser. Waste of money!

Shortshare is a menu-bar application. Please check the menu bar for the Shortshare icon after you launched the app. :)

Spotted a problem that was a tad frustrating when first using the app. Noted to developer. They responded like lightning.
So both great app and now works great too.
Only thing missing is in-app purchase of donations for the product. 😊

Ich verwende die App in Kombination mit meinem eigenen URL Shortener, welcher über YOURLS läuft.
Beim Verknüpfen der beiden Services hatte ich zu Beginn große Schwierigkeiten, jedoch konnte mir der Email-Support, welcher in Buchstäblich wenigen Sekunden antwortet, eine super einfache Lösung bieten.
Ich bin von App und Support absolut begeistert!

Potential
Install is clean and setup is minimal... too minimal, subtle to the point of confusing out of the box experience.
Confusing in that at launch, all this app does is slip a menu in the crouded menu bar on the right. The application really shoudl open a window or such.
Completely missed the menu addition and just about threw the app out as a partially working version.

Awesome extension
I love this so much! The only way it could be better is if it said "Link copied to clipboard" when you press the extension. It confused me at first because it looked like it didn't do anything. Also, it'd be nice if the extension preferences could be set in the extension preference pane of Safari, or by right-clicking on the extension. It took me a while to figure out where to modify the preferences for this particular extension.

I found out about this app just this morning on Apple World Today and the timing of it's release couldn't have worked out better. I've been having issues with Shortmenu for some time and was looking for a replacement. This app does just the trick and I like the icon and fact that it's been launched with a Safari App Extension. Great work!
