Fun to be outdoors
This app is makes a good excuse to get outdoors, or makes your outdoor activities more interesting. I use this app everywhere, and it is a companion when I am hunting (wildlife). I’m just as interested in mushrooms while I’m out.

I got this app the try it out, the free version is amazing and then the pro version is even better. Definitely recommend this if you are a beginner mushroom hunter and you’re looking for a good field guide on your phone!

Ya gotta be a physicist to navigate this app. Worthless.
Disappointing
Was unable to even navigate and experience the app without being directed to buying the premium version over and over. Really disappointing.
Awesome
This app is the best for learning about and identifying mushrooms! It has an easy interface. Paid version is nice for extra features, but the free version is very useful. Highly recommend!
What happened?
Loved it! Until I broke my iPhone now it wants $50? Sorry I have books that’s have the same knowledge already this was just handy and fun
Great idea, poor execution
While I love the idea, I find the “free” to be misleading. The only thing you get for free is the shell of an app, pointing you to upgrade for any useful information. I don’t mind a paid app, but hate that they are misleading. I suggest you just charge a fair price for your app and don’t waste folk’s time.

Just guessing
I’m about 2 for 50 identified. I’ve tried this app twice now, a beautiful app, just no reliable results for me. With Shroomify , I’m about 48 for 50. Harvest carefully!
Works well but updates are annoying
The app works reasonable well and I like its suggestions and UI. However the updates log you out and prompt for surveys to use the app. Those surveys are useless for just wanting to identify a mushroom and is really annoying when I’m trying to use the app in the woods and have to stand there waiting until it does some customization? like why can’t I just use the app?

Accurate and easy
Quick and easy to use and generally accurate predictions
Pretty decent
It’s mostly accurate with proper pictures but mostly for easily identifiable species, And even then sometimes it’ll spit something that makes no sense like clearly what’s growing in my front yard isn’t from South America or sm like that or just looks nothing like it. But I really like the community post if your in good groups you get direct feedback from ppl who typically study mushrooms as much as me or more.

Great to have a quick identifier
Have used this app several times with different fungi/mushrooms. In most all instances, the identification was very close. Posting to the group is also helpful with identifying.
I love shroom id
I moved from Michigan to Foley, Alabama in 2005. I recently started hunting mushrooms around here and thanks to the shroom id app I have identified over a dozen edible mushrooms including gourmet and medicinal mushrooms as well as dozens of others. Absolutely awesome. The better your photos the better your id results. Thank you and happy hunting😁
