Immediately after opening the app for the first time, users are prompted to pay for a premium. While many apps do this, users will be quick to find that the majority of the calming music/colored noise is locked behind a pay wall. Not only that, but the majority of the apps features are as well. It’s ridiculous in all honesty. (Also I’m still mad that Summer Rain was taken off)

Charges you before trial ends
Don’t do it. They collect your money before the trial ends and claim you didn’t cancel. They are a cheating company. Don’t sign up for the trial!
Rubbish
This is rubbish and the creators of this app do not respond to questions. I have sleep apnea and wear a device and I have asked if this affects the reports by the app. So far no response and it has been many weeks since I wrote to ask the question. Bad customer service. In addition, it takes me hours to fall asleep but the app says that I fall asleep in five minutes. This makes the whole experience frustrating and seriously not worth all the money I spent on the purchase. I wonder fi I will get a refund?

It works ok but now i have to redo month of sleep logging as its deleted the recording from the start if that month
Beware of Subscription Trap
This app offers a free one week trial and says while offering it that you will be given the option to cancel before being charged. However, it is impossible to end the subscription from within the app. I received a charge for $60 for the annual subscription on day 6 of the free trial. I feel deceived, and have submitted a claim to Apple for a refund.

Unreliable
Not sure what has happened to this app but as of lately it will stop recording and give inconsistent data (saying it has taken me 85 mins to fall asleep when it has always been within 10 mins). I have contacted customer service and sent them screenshots showing the error messages and I receive generic responses asking for the same items that have already been sent. I have had this app for years and now feel like all that data and information was for nothing.

Bad app
I had a flight to sleep on but I couldn’t sleep so before I got this app and guess what..THE APP WAS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR MONEY
Used to be good…
Not sure what has changed but the app keeps recording long awake periods throughout the night while I’m asleep so my scores are never accurate or good anymore. Always in the 50s. You also can’t edit the timeline to say you weren’t awake. It didn’t used to be this bad. It’s also so sensitive that it records my husband’s snoring every night. I constantly get warnings about it and constantly have to delete those recordings. When he’s away, no snoring ever gets recorded. So it doesn’t seem accurate at all for one person of a married couple. I don’t see a way to mitigate that so the app only records me without me doing all this extra work. Going to delete it at this point.

Awful money hungry waste of time
This app REQUIRES you to lay money. Doesnt tell you at the beginning and you are forced to sit through a five minute bs survey before tou know when its a subscription.

I love the app but
I love this app it gives me my sleep score and how to fall asleep faster and have a better sleep, however whenever i try to play recordings back (Free tier) it goes to the pause button for a second and straight back to play button so it isn’t playing at all.
App has been crashing
For several days now the app has been crashing and data is not saved. Even though it says it was, there are no recordings.

It is my first night using it and is already malfunctioning since I can’t listen to the recordings. If I try to “share” the app just closes itself. Please fix this or help me fix it🙏🏻
Sleep Mix Timer
It’s a great app but the sleep mix noises don’t fade after the timer is done, it just ends abruptly. When going into the timer it says that audio will fade after timer is done but it doesn’t.

I paid $60 for a year subscription to your app called ShutEye. It was paid on March 7of 2026 and should be good through March 7 of 2027.
I talked to Apple and they checked my account and said my story checks out. They recommended eye contact you and then got back with them.
I had intended to cancel it before I was charged, but it slipped by me and I did not cancel it in time. I did not realize I had already paid for it when I canceled it.
I would like to gain use of the app for the remainder of the subscription or get my money back.

Disappointing performance and customer service
The app stopped syncing after an update was made. I contacted tech support on multiple occasions and the problem has yet to be resolved. After 3 months, I have deleted the app that I paid a yearly subscription fee for. There is no point in using a sleep app that doesn’t track your sleep.
The app worked well when I first started using it. It helped me identify my sleep patterns.
