Defaults to USD
Pretty simple shopfront for their products, but despite signing into an account, and changing the currency to my preferred correctly (AUD) as soon as I view another product on there, it reverts to USD pricing. It’s easier to just shop on their website.
Poor app
Can’t scroll to view products. Deleted it, waste of time.
Falls short
This isn’t even an app, it’s just a useless wrapper for their mobile web page (store). This should be an actual app with the Tire Pressure Calculator, simple guides for chain waxing system, etc.
Silca is grossly lacking is clear, succinct directions. Everything is hiding behind 20-30 min videos. I just want to quickly calculate my tire PSI or reference temperatures/time for my chain waxing system.
Love Silca: the pre-purchase info is phenomenal (in depth videos), the products are great, but the post-purchase support is lacking. You have a great opportunity to organize and disseminate information + tools through this app, please take advantage of it.

Silca is simply a little bit better than any other brand. I have over twenty years in cycling and I have tried every brand of pump. Spend the money and get a Silca. I had an Ultimate that I lost when my home was flooded in Hurricane Ian. When I finally got around to buying a new pump, they were not available. I got a Super Pista and love it. I now own tools, lubes, and love all of them. I had a small problem with one product and Silca made it right. Superior warranty that they honor. Silca is my first stop when I need something.

5-star products but useless app
It’s just a web portal. Just bookmark the website in your browser. Just like with the rockshox trailhead app, all they need to do to make it value-added is have the calculator remember your inputs from the last time. Bonus if there are multiple memories for different setups.

Silca Secret Blend
Switched over to Silca liquid chain wax a few months ago. Really enjoyed the product. So I recently made my switch to the hot wax Secret Blend. Following the YouTube videos made this a breeze. I am so happy I made the change and so is my drivetrain.

Chain Stripper/Hot Chain Wax
Used the super secret formula on my road bike and immediately felt the difference. Since I only had about 300 miles on that chain and less than 100 on the gravel bike chain I decided to go all in. Picked up a crock pot at a local thrift store for $9 and off I went. First ride on the road bike was yesterday and it was so quiet and smooth, even felt faster 😀. Today I road my XC bike with the waxed chain and it was ridiculously smooth and quiet. I am a convert and believer!

Good Idea but Fail
I love Silca. I believe they provide a good start point for tire pressure. I love their wax. The app asks for my email every time I calculate a new tire pressure. While I love the idea of the tire pressure calculator and the ability to order form the App, the fact that logging in means zero to the tire pressure calculator makes it worthless to me. I’ll just use another source.

Not a real app
Just a gateway to their website… pressure calculator not working offline
Very basic app
The tyre pressure info is great, but you can't save a setup to refer back, e.g. if different bikes. Need to re-enter settings every time. This app adds nothing over using the website, also prompts me to install the app when I am using it - is the app just a link to the site?
Don’t even bother
The app does appear to be ready for iOS 16. Just installed installed it, and all I see is a message that the app is “… updating to the latest version.”
You have to start from scratch every time
The tire pressure calculator makes this app worth some money if they ever asked for it …. The one bummer is that it doesn’t remember any of your previous inputs , so every time you want to use you have to start from scratch . No big deal of course , but being an app and knowing that the coding exists and it’s pretty easy, it would be an amazing plus of it retained your last imputed info, maybe even let you store different bikes with their weights , that way you only have to change a couple parameters each time and you’re in your way
