Great for haptic tap meditation

I actually use this for meditation with my Watch. I set up a routine with a 1 minute activity and have it repeat 30 times. It taps my wrist every minute to keep me focused on my morning meditation. I put my watch in silent mode because I only want the taps.

Disappointing

The app seems okay, but worthless for me. I wanted an interval timer with haptic feedback for swimming. However, my intervals are 12 minutes and the app maxes out at 5 minute intervals. It makes no sense to make the app so limited.

Paid but painfully limited, 3 MAX

Bad buy. Max of three workouts. Far too limited for a paid app. Fails to update thru watch. Uninstall reinstall but it grinds to a halt on the reinstall process. No complication to add to watch faces. Disappointed. No support. Fails at its most basic function - programs on Apple Watch. Zero.

I purchased because the app stresses hapatics rather than sound. Hearing impaired user.

I use timers for work, running, and weights. I use the same 5-6 timers every day. If you read the description, he indicates that you can add up to three timers. If you missed the full description, well, haha, he got you.

Waited two months for updates before leaving review.

So. Bravo app maker. You got my money. But you’ve destroyed a possible advocate.

Additional notes.
On the watch, the programs are colors not names.
There’s no way to cycle through intervals within a program. You either repeat the entire program or you have a max of 12 intervals.

So gym rats, if you have 15 different lift rest combos YOU CANNOT USE THIS.

Response from developer

Appreciate all the feedback. I just have a few clarifications: 1. Support is always available: just email support@silotrainer.com for response within 24hr. 2. Correct, no complications (yet). 3. You can add up to 12 timers (not just 3) for a given workout. 3 is the number of presets you can set. I want this app to be useful for all without making it too complicated (hence the lack of features). But would love to hear more about your specific use case. Please email and will take down your feedback for the next update.

Best workout intervals for WATCH

Exactly what I was looking. Simple silent / haptic intervals. Taps me on the wrist when and let’s me know when to start and take breaks between intervals. Nice clean design. Also super easy to setup!

Only one minor gripe

So far I’ve been absolutely loving this app for creating HIIT workouts on my watch. It’s easy to use and the watch app is awesome. My only complaint is that once I finish a routine it doesn’t show up in the activity app as a workout like it would if I had recorded my activity with the native workout app on Apple Watch. If this could be fixed this app would be perfect!
