FANTASTIC App

An example of great interface design - simple to use and with great utility.

This has helped me understand how family members see the world.

Thank you developers - great job.

Essential Development Tool

I’ve used Sim Daltonism for many years, to ensure that my apps are usable by as many folks as possible.

A suggestion

I was wondering if y’all can add an option for cat and dog vision, we already know they see less colors than us, the closest I can find to cat vision based on my research is protanomaly but it’s not exact, something like this would help with buying toys my cats will actually play with, plus I wana see the world through thier eyes

“Eye” opening

I have a child who is colorblind and I’ve always wondered what the world looks like through his eyes. Now I can see exactly that! I had him test it for me to make sure the colors lined up with what he sees, and for deuteranomoly, it is spot on!

I'm glad this is still available

This is a crucial tool for anyone who wants to understand, well, anything. Our default is ourselves and everything we do in order to stretch the view? Hallelujah! That means if the "only" thing someone begins to understand is unique between them and another person is color and other differences in visual perception *and* they should make accommodations their worldview may shift. - — - I didn’t write that metaphorically but because a huge part of our brains are dedicated to vision it’s hard to not be metaphorical and literal.

A little piece of advice

So I tested this and I myself have protanomaly, and, fun fact, the reds actually are the same as a normal persons perception of red. It is just hard to differentiate purple from blue, dark red from brown and yellow from lime. I’m criticizing I’m just trying to give some advice.

Accurate

Great! As someone who actually has a mild form of deuteranamaly, this is accurate!

Extremely Helpful!

As a UX designer this app is amazing. But when you take pictures I would like an option for a label that tells you which type of color blindness is being used

Thank you!!

This is such a cool app!! I’ve always wondered what it would be like and now I’ve found my solution! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

MOST HELPFUL for anyone doing anything with Design.

I have fallen in love with this app to get a quick look at web and/or published designs/content to see how it might look for someone with color blindness. In less than a minute, you can quickly assess what colors are going to be potentially problematic.

This game helps me a lot

I have deutaranopia and I use this to show my friends what I see very helpful app

Great app

This is a great app. Thank you. Very simple to use and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It helped me understand how colour blondes affects people in my life. If I may suggest an improvement, would it be possible to import a photo from the phone and apply the filter like it does for the camera? It would be great then to have a side by side compare of the original and the photo that had the filter applied.

This is goog

Yes, good app, I used to see somewhat like how gogy sees. Very easy to use and well made app. :)

Hmmmmm

Really good, just wish it could make my whole phone see what colourblind people see, just not the camera

Camera only

I was excited to use this because I use the desktop version a lot. Unfortunately I can only use it through the camera and not by adding a photo from my camera roll. Boo.

I solved a rubiks cube with this

I have normal vision and always wondered what it would be like to be color blind, I also really like rubiks cubes, so I decided to solve one using this app, it was a lot harder and a fun challenge, I like this app.

Very good and helpful

So I have tritanopia and I showed my class what I see and things and not just that I learned more about tritanopia 5/5

Great

Everything’s good. But can u add a vr mode pls?

Companion to the desktop app!

As an accessibility nerd, I was so excited to find Sim Daltonism in the App Store for iOS too!

Best colorblindness simulator

Very well designed app that gets out of its own way. Most importantly, the frame rate is great. Other apps I tried ran at like 10 frames per second and looked terrible. This helps me see what my best friend with colorblindness sees whenever I want!
