I keep popping back to see if the bugs that drove me crazy have been fixed. Despite having a better UI, the language bug still remains. I put everything into English, but when a message arrives with the recipient, half of the text is in Chinese. As such the app remains useless.

Update 30/05/2023. Version 3.6.1. Latest update that was supposed to correct a number of the previous issues has still not addressed them. Call quality remains poor, despite being set to English, texts still come through with half of the characters in Chinese, plus still no Siri support even though the help file continues to say it does.
In summary I can’t see a single thing that has changed or is improved since the last release.
As before, my recommendation remains to advise potential users to not purchase a SIMORE eClips device. Whilst the hardware remains relatively ok, the exceptionally poor performance from the app renders the eclips useless.

Update 18/11/2022 Had to stop using both the app and my Simore Eclips device. Whilst the hardware appears fine the app is simply failing in terms of performance. I have every setting set to English yet 70% of texts sent are sent in Chinese. Plus the call quality is shockingly poor. Simore have been promising an update to the app since the launch of iOS 15 but nothing has appeared. Now they are also not responding to correspondence so suspecting a scam or just a genuinely bad product. My next update will probably be recommending that people avoid this company and app. I remain forever hopeful of an improvement - for the time being at least. *********************************************** Update 19/10/2022 Desperately needs for CarPlay and Siri voice commands. The FAQ section of the app says it supports Siri but the truth is it doesn’t. Currently the app is unsafe to use in a car ********************************************** I Original Review. don’t think there is much more you can say about it it’s a simple app that appears to effectively run the messaging and phone aspects of a dual sim setup. If your expectation is for something more than this then this app won’t appeal to you. It will all depend on what you want out of it. Some improvements I would like to see include better fonts for messaging. Looks like Times to me at present which is a bit dated. Also support for Apple Car Play would be a big plus. Outside of that, just maintaining the reliability of the app needs to continue.

Cellular not available
Hi, the previous app (ikos) is working fine and cellular option is available. But in this app, cellular option is greyed out which makes the app unusable. At least previous working features should be available on this app version.
