Punished for a Job I Never Confirmed
My account was permanently restricted for last-minute cancellations, and I think SitterTree’s policy is extremely unfair.
In two cases, I went to sleep without a job scheduled and woke up to find that I had been booked for a shift starting that same morning. I did not accept a confirmed job and then sleep through it. The organizations selected me less than an hour before the start time, yet those situations were still counted against me as cancellations.
I reached out, explained the circumstances, took accountability for the cancellations that were my responsibility, and asked for reconsideration. I was simply told that account restrictions are permanent and cannot be undone.
Permanent suspension with no meaningful appeal process is excessive. Sitters should at least have to actively confirm last-minute bookings before being penalized for them.

I love using this app to pick up som extra shifts, not only to make some extra money but also doing something I already love ! Everyone I have met during shifts have been amazing as well to even make more connections for ur everyday life!🫶🏽
