The science behind the appears solid and evidence based. The only problem is that the app needs constant baby sitting when using the Apple Watch and iPhone even after following the instructions. The Watch app constantly disconnects and needs to be restarted. I reached out via email for assistance but never received a response from the developer. They clearly need to figure out a better way to track that doesn’t involve needing to duplicate a “workout.” In its current state, I’d never even dream of paying $12/mo for the subscription.

I love this app! It’s fascinating to see key moments pop up and match them to what happened to learn how to optimize those experiences. Yes, I already had a sense of when I was most engaged and felt safe, but this takes that insight to a whole new level, very exciting.
Could load the app on my phone and watch, but am unable to create an account; every time I try to and enter my email, a message pops up telling me to check my InBox for a message with a “magic link” to register. Have tried a dozen times over the last 48 hrs and so far no message with a magic link (despite double-checking that my email address is correct, as well as checking my spam folders). Therefore unable to register. Meanwhile, the Watch app works sometimes, and other times stops tracking. This has happened three or four times in the past two days; have had to reload the app and restart my devices. When the app works, it’s been interesting to see the data. In this early stage of development though, it’s just too frustrating to use. I may check back in in a few months to see if it’s improved, and if it will finally allow me to register.

I enjoyed the app and the insights but the fact that it then tries to charge you for the history of MY DATA is offensive
I recently purchased this after hearing about it on a podcast - and was given no option for a trial. I immediately found it disappointing - and have reached out for a return/refund only to have them reply they don’t do refunds.
I’ve been using Six for a few weeks now, ant it absolutely delivers on its promise. The insights it provides are essential, making it a perfect complement to other health and wellness data from wearables. If you are serious about optimizing your well-being, this is a must have. Highly recommended!
So far I’m really enjoying this app. The only issue I’m having is it disconnects during my workouts when my iwatch connects to Peloton. I’m not sure if this is a me problem or n app problem. I’d love to have the app connected throughout my workouts as I feel like I’m missing out on some valuable feedback.

SIX is an amazing tool that helps me track what my brain truly values. It’s a great way to reflect on my day and evaluate what truly I enjoy. And the fact that it’s based on neuroscience and true scientific measures, reassures me that information I am getting is accurate and meaningful.
It’s pretty mind-blowing that you can track your mental wellness and get insights from it. You absolutely have to give this app a try!
I honestly feel like SIX understands my brain better than I do! 👀 This is the first legit neuroscience app I’ve found (or that exists?) that allows me to measure how my brain is reacting across my day so that I can discover the moments that matter the most to ME. I’m constantly on the go and can’t get into journaling (sorry, not my cup of tea) so their Key Moment feature has been a game changer for reflection and caused me to be a lot more self-aware of the things that I need to prioritize to make my day/week/life better. My Key Moments often happen during things that I know I get really into - like painting or solving problems at work- but other times it surprises me and lets me know that activity/moment was valuable to my brain and I should be prioritizing them more often! My guitar has been collecting dust and I finally picked it back up the other day and got a Key Moment- so I’m going to try to weave in time to shake off the rust and play more. Also the mood and energy forecast is super cool- it predicted me getting in a slump when I was not taking enough time for myself. Back on track now but now I know I can use it to try to circumvent low mood days proactively by trying to get more Key Moments! Works great with my Garmin which is now getting a ton more love- just had to pair it and now it starts collecting when I slap it on in the morning- no extra steps. Really really love this app and excited to see what else it can uncover about myself!

The app helps me to discover what creates emotional wellbeing for me. I’ve been using it for some time now and it is great to see how early issues got sorted out. This feels like a new area, moving from fitness to true wellbeing.

I’m obsessed with this app! It reveals what’s actually boosting my brain and body, even stuff I’m not consciously aware of. Sometimes it totally matches my gut feeling (so satisfying!), and other times it helps me find new things that either hype me up or drain me. This is my new fave app
How to stop this app
As a neuroscientist who's really into research, I'm finding this app incredibly useful both personally and professionally. A big thanks to Dr. Zak for making such a valuable tool accessible and affordable to everyone.
Love the idea of this but I haven’t been able to use it because every time I click the app, it crashes.
iPhone only last 9hrs
