sixtyfive motion is the moving-image companion to sixtyfive. One physical rear lens. One exact 65:24 frame. You compose in that band, you roll, and the archive keeps a widescreen negative you can grade later. Film character is a choice at export, not a live filter on the finder. ONE LENS. ONE WIDE FRAME. IN MOTION. The finder is a hard 65:24 aperture. Landscape only. What fills that aperture is what gets recorded. No stitching. No generative fill. No post reframe to a different ratio. Hold the phone sideways and work inside the band. PHYSICAL REAR LENSES ONLY Hard switches between ultra-wide (13), main (24), and the native telephoto when your device has it. One lens per take. No digital zoom. No virtual multi-cam. No front camera. Labels map to real modules on the back of the phone. THE ARCHIVE IS THE NEGATIVE Recording writes a 65:24 Log or technical master into a local reel of takes. Sync sound rides with the picture unless you mute it. Stop does not push anything to Photos. The cut slate ends the take, then you are ready again. LOOKS AT EXPORT Open a take and choose a look when you want one. Eight original film stocks bake on device for Photos or Share: • Vista 100, Solara 50, Cinema 400, Metro 800, Aquarelle 160 (color) • Reportage 400, Gravure 100, Platina 125 (black and white) Or export the negative as-is with its sidecar. Grain moves with the frame. No strength sliders. No branded film packs. CINE CONTROLS, NOT A MENU FARM Shutter angle instead of shutter speed (180° default). Frame rate locked per take: 24, 30, or 60. Exposure compensation, false colour, zebra, waveform. Tap to focus, long-press AE/AF lock, manual rack when you want it. Stabilization Off / Standard / Cinematic. Wind reduction and mono ambient when you need them. REELS AND TAKES Shooting groups into reels. The HUD shows reel and take. Close a reel when you want a new grouping. The archive keeps posters, duration, codec, and shot data without pretending a look was chosen before it was. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No cloud processing. No analytics, advertising, or tracking. No location permission. Nothing leaves the device unless you export or erase. PERMISSIONS • Camera: required to compose and record. • Microphone: sync sound when sound is on. • Photos (add only): only when you export a look or a negative. sixtyfive motion does not read your library. YOUR DATA Delete takes in the archive. Archive → About → Erase all sixtyfive motion data removes every take, export, and preference on this device (with confirmation). Copies already in Photos must be deleted in Photos. SUPPORTED HARDWARE Pro-class multi-camera devices only (12 through 17 Pro and Pro Max class). Recording is blocked on unsupported models with a clear gate. No silent codec or resolution downgrade. Simulator: no camera.
