No Submissions/Claims in Progress Spot

I am very perturbed that they do not have a place that shows ‘claims in progress’.
My submissions aren’t available for me to check on and I have to wait for a final decision to be made before it shows up in my submission history.

Bring back plan usage

Why did you remove plan usage for each practitioner? Feels deceitful to not include all information with easy breakdown. Please bring back this feature. It’s disappointing to not have that visibility

Bring back plan usage breakdown

With the recent update the core functionality of the app has changed. Bring back the breakdown of plan usage for all medical professionals (not just dental).
I can’t find this information anywhere and it’s so foundational to how I use the app.

Question

Two of my jobs uses both blue cross. Is there a way for me to access both account at the same time without having to register the card I need again and again? Cuz I use the same email for both thinking that would happen, but I was wrong. Please feel free to reply to this review because I really need assistance with that. Thank you

Do Not Recommend App or Blue Cross

I have spent a full day trying to register on this app by phone 3 times and in person. I was told it is my internet provider - wrong! I was told it is my device provider - wrong! (I trouble shot with both). Tried my husband’s remote email and Blue Cross Wi-Fi to no avail. Blue Cross response was “oh well, then do t use it”. No interest in trouble shooting from their end.

Terrible app.

You can’t upload the receipt because you required to put in the entire thing before you submit the receipt. Sooo you have to print or open the PDF on another place so you can fill out the “required info”. It is completely pointless to have an app that you require other devices or paper work to have the required info available to fill out. The company is not registered for 90% of places to be able to direct submit. I dread trying to use it. It seems like they make it so complicated that the users give up on even submitting the claim then they don’t have to deal with paying customers.

Absolute Garbage

Impossible to even sign into.

It’s a complete waste of time to download this app. It simply doesn’t work.

Pathetic update

App used to work fine. Now it won’t allow photo updates for receipts. Waste of time. Pathetic
Fix immediately!

Just updated this app and now it won’t open. So frustrating!

Can’t register

Can’t register, it just keeps telling me the information entered is different than what they have on file even though I’m using my membership card. Useless and frustrating!

Aggressively annoyed

Trying to register account but the app keeps telling me the information I have entered did not match what they have in file. Tried going to the website to register and that kept telling me passwords did not match... Get it together!

Update app

Won't let me login keeps telling me I have to update my app. When I try to update there's nothing to update. Not impressed

Update app every time you open it!

Ugggghhhh, everytime I use this APP it has to updated 🙄🙄🙄. Updates are fine, but you can make at least some of them optional. It’s fairly easy to use once the update is complete. Haha.

Disappointed

Just started to use the app this year, first claim went through fast was very impressed. Second one been over a month, contacted Service department my claim wasn’t in process as yet! Assuming the app was to simply claims! Verification of claim received other than the initial system generated email would be beneficial. Or tracking of where it is in the process! Submitted a couple more see what happens , hope to see improvements in the system.

Veneer of a professional organization...

Disclosure: I’m an employer no longer using blue cross after using them as an HC provider for nearly 10 years.

As an incentive my staff were excited to qualify for the plan after a min employment period, but all reported frustration after using the plan, to be of little value - mostly redundant and spotty coverage for medication. Requesting info from the company doesn’t get much in the way of clarification - just directed to pamphlets, etc. Hands-off approach.

All modifications to the plan always required me to schedule a meeting in person. Nothing over the phone or otherwise.

When my wife and I had a daughter 3 months early - their coverage or provision for maternal health was appalling/nonexistent. If you’re needing IVF to carry a child because of PCOS or other reasons - expect to go it alone.

Oh and the final straw? when I was on leave from work for MEDICAL reasons a veteran employee of blue cross Saskatoon walked into my business during reg hours without asking for me nor requesting a meeting, and abruptly disclosed private information related to my family and my business in front of regular customers and staff not before loudly making demands then departed. This protocol would never fly in any professional or customer- oriented environment. Especially not in the place of business whose history of account totalled tens of thousands of dollars in one decade. I wonder how other accounts are shown appreciation?

For such poor service, abject coverage and crass uncaring attitude toward the very people lining Blue Cross’ pockets, I recommend employers find an insurance provider who works hard to earn their business (or administering your own plan with automation from apps or cloud based providers. Chances are you could lavishly cover staff health expenses instead giving hard earned cash to the provider with the most auspicious visibility and media presence. The hidden truth is theirs’ is a culture of entitlement, indifference & greed and it shows in how much money funnels into corporate expenditure & remuneration, and not back into care plans. You deserve better, I promise you, than what this organization could ever provide back.
