So many good routes!
I’ve discovered loads of new places to run since using this app. Recommend.
Not there yet
Very buggy. Slow to load. Won’t always stop the run. Most annoying thing is you can only start the run at the start, not at the nearest point to you. This makes it virtually useless compared to other apps and not very green as will encourage people to drive to the start. Definitely won’t be paying for this app I’m afraid.

Great way to find and race new routes
This app has helped me to find new routes to run. It is also great to see target times customised to my age and performance
Keeping marathon training interesting!
I have used Skamper throughout my marathon training this year, it’s really helped me not find the process mundane. I’m especially impressed by the routes out of London when you’re in a new area and trying to find a good place to run!

Fabulous app
An excellent and fun way to explore new areas with the extra security of a planned route. I get lost so much less with Skamper and have more confidence to get out on a run when visiting a new place. There is an incredibly speedy response when you request a route in a particular area too, thank you Skamper!

Amazing
The team behind this is amazing. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in wanting to make the app better with the help of their user base.
I enjoy using the app on my phone and watch and find myself completing courses I would never have attempted if it wasn’t set out for me.
I heard about this app through a promotional email from INOV8. I am so glad I downloaded it and have started to use it.

Great app for finding new routes!
Attended the launch event for Skamper and loved it. Done many of the routes on there ever since and it’s always being updated with new ones.
I recently went to Scotland and wanted some good running routes, Skamper had loads of choice and helped me decide what the terrain/elevation etc was going to be like.

What a great app Skamper is!
There are features this running app has that I’ve just not seen in what else is available.
Picking out two of the countless features that make Skamper a dream to use:
Firstly, the bespoke grading algorithm makes for friendly competition between young and old, after completing one of the curated routes all over the country (which are a dream to run).
Secondly, the audio prompts you get when en route, makes navigation a breeze, as they are concise, use obvious landmarks and are heard with plenty of time before the junction.
Excited to see what’s next in store for Skamper!!

Skamper is superb
I got introduced to Skamper app via the green runners, Skamper were planting trees for doing their run routes (thanks Skamper) I went out and ran a different Skamper route everyday of that tree planting campaign, what a fun happy way to get a tree planted and have a wee adventure, after that tree planting ended, I asked Skamper to do a route for me locally, this ended up with them making 11 different routes for me, I cannot thank them enough for the help they have gave me,

Don’t hesitate to download!
Few apps get me excited but Skamper does. I’m quite new to the area and don’t know many running routes so Skamper has opened a whole new world. Well done to the developers. Is there a watch app in the future? Also, is it possible to contribute routes?

I really enjoyed the Skamper App to take on the Wainwright Round which started and finished at the INOV8 Forge Store in Staveley in the South Lakes.
This route was challenging but really scenic with 40KM of trails to enjoy.
I was really impressed by the tracking accuracy of the Skamper App, allowing to navigate the route with no problems. It really reassured me when I got to points in the route were it was wasn’t clear which way to go.
One of the nicest aspects of taking on this route was meeting other runners taking on the same challenge!

The Skamper app is easy to use and accessible with a variety of routes available across Britain. I really enjoy the simplicity of the app and will be sure to recommend it to others.

Love this app for finding routes in new places!
Great route planning & feel good value
It suggests lots of great routes in the local area or if you’re going somewhere new. It’s also really fun to be able to compete with friends & family through the grading system - not matter their age or gender! I also find the notifications for when your friend starts & finishes a run very reassuring - especially in the dark winter months!

Superb
I can’t believe how many routes are on here. Great for finding routes when away for a weekend or for just monitoring your progress on a local route. Very easy to use and really good navigation tool.
Great running app
If you’re somewhere new and need to find a really good running route use this app! It’s easy to find a route; the details show you how close you are to a route and gives details of what to expect (distance/how hilly/terrain) and off you go. And once you’ve done it once, you can try it again and compare.
Having a target time for each course is useful for me as I’m often trying to squeeze a run in and this helps me to see if it’ll fit my gap. The targets are pretty accurate too. I’m looking forward to seeing if the race predictor is right too!

Great alternative to Strava.
Downloaded the app a while back and there were limited routes. However, recently that’s all changed. There are so many routes local to me now. Really enjoying trying them out - even if I’m not top of the leaderboard! Easy to use app. Great alternative to Strava too. Deffo recommend. Excited to see how it develops over time. Great app.

Got this app a few months ago and have been using it ever since. I love it.
It continually surprises me on showing new routes and linking old routes with new in amazing combinations that I had not thought of.
I am also very fond of the grade feature which lets me know how I have performed on the run.

Great for the low tech runner
Love the ease of using this app. No homework required. The routes are really easy to follow and the alerts mean you know you’re on track.
