The Ski YC app serves as an official guide to Yellowstone Club. It provides users with an interactive trail map, real-time information on groomed and closed runs, snow conditions, weather, and lift status. It also allows for friend location sharing, run recording with detailed stats, and access to a directory of club amenities and events.
Key features include an accurate trail map with run status, the ability to share your location with friends on the mountain, and the capability to record your runs, logging vertical feet and distance. The app also provides up-to-date mountain information, lift status, a club directory, and an events calendar.
Yes, the Ski YC app is free to download and use. The provided description does not mention any in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertisements, indicating it is a complimentary service for Yellowstone Club users.
The app requires a GPS-equipped device for location and logging services. It also mentions integration with Apple Watch for recording runs as workouts, which can then be viewed in the Health app. Logs can be stored on iCloud and viewed across multiple devices.
To track your runs, simply open the app and ensure location services are enabled. The app will automatically record your runs, logging metrics such as vertical feet and distance. You can then replay your runs on the trail map, email images, or post them to social media.
