Useful for checking suitability of specific products, although it told me a face wash was 90% suitable and then changed that to 60% a week later. As a discovery tool it’s absolutely useless. Search functionality just doesn’t work. Search for La roche-posay…no products. Search for a specific La roche-posay product and it miraculously appears. Use filters to search for a moisturiser with spf…. no products, yet searching by exact name finds loads. Really shoddy stuff, made worse by the fact I did a week’s free trial because it said I would be notified before being billed for the year. Was I? No I wasn’t. Stuck with a £50 ineffective app now.

Update is really a downgrade
Before this update, every time you clicked on the coloured bar that showed the overall score of the product, you could also see a compatibility rating (excellent, good, neautral etc) for your skin type (I have combination). Not sure why this feature wasn’t kept consistently with all products.

Deleted My Review
So I recently made a review because I noticed that the Amazon product linked was a fake and recommended people to buy from the official store and in three minutes of me publishing the deleted so it feels like this company is making money through commission through their links and it’s not transparent with the customers/reviewers.

This app is so good, i can look at ingredients and it tells me about them in-depth. I’ve been trying to find something like this for a WHILE! Definitely recommend!!!!

Heart it
It’s beneficial. Enter your skin issues and what your skin goals are. It helps break down all ingredients you’re unfamiliar with to let you know if it’s a good match by percentage. I use it for products I already own and I’d say it’s pretty accurate on the results shown and love that it helps me know if it’s good on my skin type to get the results I want and for my skin issues and for skin goals on products I’m curious and want to purchase!

Worst app ever
The app asks to do a free trial when you open it up for the first time. Personally, I did not find this app useful so I deleted it but I forgot that it would charge me after the trial is over. I tried to get a refund through Apple as soon as I saw the charge but apparently this app is not eligible for refunds so now I’m stuck with a $60 charge on something that I will never use.

Decent app
I like the app overall. I wish it provided more insights based on the products you use. I also wish you could track when you open and finish products etc. but overall it is one of the better skin apps
Loved it at first!
I loved this app at first, so much so that I paid for a year’s subscription because it was so great! But suddenly today it was showing me a completely different rating for certain products that I know for a fact matched 100% for me and I haven’t changed anything in my profile. Now I can’t trust it which irritates me since I paid for it. 😑🤦🏻♀️

Changes in ratings
During my trial, I checked all my skin care products and made changes accordingly to your recommendations and purchased those products, after becoming a member I rescanned the new products only to see that their rating changed drastically and no longer recommended or has received a much lower rating than originally . My trust has been affected…

Skinsort- skincare scanner
This app helped me understand my skin and figure out what products I should be using and shouldn’t. This app is amazing if you want to find out what is best for your skin and not hurting it.
Does not show routine conflicts
I really really, really wanted to like this app, however it does not show conflicts between products in your routine as you choose what to apply every day. I prefer an active notification to let me know when I shouldn’t combine different products in the same routine. Incredibly disappointed.
Not accurate
At first I was really impressed with this app. Then I started comparing info listed for items with the manufacturer info and SkinSort has so much inaccurate info. Also not impressed with the recommendations for “dupes”.
app issues
i really love this app as it’s helped me with my skincare journey/routine in helping me find products that works for my skin. i also really love that you’re able to leave reviews on products and view other people’s reviews as well so you get a better understanding of what products are good. however the app seems to have this weird issues whenever i search up a specific brand or product and i will click on a product, scroll down a little, click on another product, and when i return back to keep scrolling it will send me straight back to the beginning of products i’ve already seen. then im forced to scroll back down and remember where i left off and it can get annoying especially when ive scrolled down a long way and then i have to try and see where i left off looking.

I absolutely love this app. I believe that everyone should be using this. It’s completely free and whenever I am like this looks cool. I can tell me negative things or positive and what I love is their motto we work for your skin not for brands like it’s good to find an app like that not covering up anything. The only thing it covers up is those pimples it helps very much
