Abandoned, betrayed
The #1 reason I purchased a SkyBell was to be notified when someone was at my door. And while it worked, it was great. However, I still have their hardware installed but I haven't received notifications in months. I came here to find out that the product and it's associated app are no longer being supported. That's betrayal, pure and simple. The technology hasn't advanced sufficiently to warrant such a decision.
I would give the SkyBell HD a 1-star rating as well to show my disapproval with the company, but that would be unfair to owners of that product. If you are here to find out about SkyBell 2.0, then you now know to stay away at all costs. If you are here to see if you want to purchase the HD or any other SkyBell product, then beware. They think your doorbell is becoming a disposable device.

Unreliable
The app is very unstable. Video locks up and will stop connecting without app restart. Even with very strong wifi. Picture is so so and dose not really have the right FOV for a door bell. Activation is utterly useless, you can't define areas and it's nothing but false alerts.
Under iOS 10.2 the door bell no longer triggers the app to ring.
