Avoid SkyBell that requires Monitoring
I chose SkyBell because I wanted a video doorbell without expensive monthly monitoring fees.

I want to like this company but this product is just so damn unreliable. Canβt watch live (for years!) app crashes as soon as you click βwatch liveβ. Motion is never triggered despite it being set correctly. Super disappointing

Live doesnβt work
Ever since we had to merge to the new Skybell app, itβs horrible. You canβt watch live. You have to wait up to 3 minutes to go back and watch something that has just been captured. Horrible app with lots of issues. We would have never ordered a Skybell if we knew we would have to wait 3 minutes to see if there is an intruder at the door. A lot can happen in 3 minutes!!!!!

Hit or miss
This new version of the app makes me log in every couple of days which is annoying. When I need it most to see whoβs at my door it takes too long to login. With that worked better
