Connecting to a new router
It is extremely difficult to reconnect my X2 controller with a new router. Much more complicated than it should be…

Not thought out
App isn’t thought out for the home owner. It’s hard to start and stop watering on days without suspending everything. It’s not end user friendly.

Hydrawise Rain Shutoff Is Unreliable
I have a Hunter Hydrawise irrigation system using a personal weather station located at my own home, which should provide very accurate local rainfall information.
Unfortunately, the automatic rain shutoff feature is not working reliably. We received enough rain to exceed my configured 24-hour rainfall threshold, yet Hydrawise continued with the scheduled watering instead of suspending it. I ultimately had to manually suspend the irrigation zones.
I went through the weather station selection, Water Triggers, Predictive Watering settings, rainfall thresholds, Reports, Events and Alerts. The settings appear correct, but Hydrawise did not generate the expected automatic rain suspension.
This is particularly frustrating because rain-based irrigation control is one of the primary reasons to have a smart irrigation controller. If the system has accurate rainfall data from a weather station located on the property but still waters after sufficient rainfall, something isn’t working as it should.
I otherwise like the capabilities of Hydrawise, but reliable automatic rain shutoff is a fundamental feature that needs to work consistently.
Hunter needs to investigate and correct this issue.
