App never connects
Every time I change the dial on the Controller the WiFi fails and disconnects. It’s ridiculous that occurs every time. Then it takes me hours to reconnect it.

App is not bad but hardware ownership is terrible!
We purchased a house and it had a hydrawise controller. Its been a nightmare and way too much time spent trying to gain access from previous owners. On this alone I wont be using the brand again. Hardware transfer should be simple with proof of equipment sale.

Frustrating
App and devices do not work well. Waters when it shouldn’t - like right after a lot of rain and doesn’t water when it should - like kills your grass because you thought it would be watering as scheduled during the hot dry summer. Is definitely not set it and forget it.
Wonderful System
I celebrate this system every time I use it. The auto function makes it easy to be compliant with any local restrictions. The remote program is remarkable. Every time “I water the lawn”…. I count my blessings!

Expectations Exceeded
Some apps disappoint and some apps delight…the Hydrawise system is terrific! Intuitive to use and works flawlessly!
Not user friendly
This app is unnecessarily hard to navigate. The updates have only made it worse. I wish there was another option that would work with my controller.

Record is totally confusing. Can't tell if it ran last night or not.

Having this system helps me keep from watering when rain or windy weather is due in the area.
Because it connects to the internet and keeps current with weather conditions it will adjust my program to run at the appropriate days. It also will extend run times based dry than normal conditions.
The app is easy to use and can come in handy when you need to turn off a watering cycle due to yard project taking place and yiu are not home to manually turn it off.

Overcurrent issues..
It appeared to work fine until I noticed the system hadn’t been working as intended for a while. Plants were doing poorly, for obvious reasons. No email or text notifications of this “overcurrent”.

Home irrigation
I am a homeowner and have roughly an acre of front and back yards, with 6 diverse zones of irrigated areas. The Hydrawise app has allowed for excellent customization and automation to adapt to changing weather and seasons. The irrigation was set up and installed by a landscaper and later I added the WiFi module, so I’ve been using this for 5+ years now. It has always worked great. Very happy and recommend this solution.

Better than rain bird, but...
The old Hydrawise app is far superior. This one suffers from a poor overall user experience that was clearly designed by someone with limited experience operating an irrigation system. The simplicity of the old app was its biggest selling point.
It's hard to downgrade, but it is possible if you know how. I wish Hunter would release the old Hydrawise app as a Lite version.

Works flawless can start and stop from anywhere can monitor yard from security cameras and turn on remotely to scare geese away

Old app was better.
Just an odd way for the layout. Reports are terrible. I can’t even see how many gallons of water I’m using per day or weekly.
