Missing important feature
The app needs a way to exclude used and refurbished items from deal alerts. I am not interested in buying anything used and it is annoying getting deal alerts every day for this. Please add a filter to be able to exclude.
Always great deals
Get several pop ups a day and in most all cases locate an item I use so saves me money even though I sometimes buy before I actually would have reordered. But in this day and age we all need to save whenever we can especially on every day use items.

An Error Occurred Screen

Helps you find the lowest price.
In addition to finding the lowest price it tells you past prices in case you can wait for a lower price. Deals are easily categorized and searchable.
Annoying Bug: Ads open from scrolling!
A recent update made it that ads open when accidentally used to continue scrolling through pages.

In general, this app is fine. This review is just to report one particular bug/annoying behavior.
Typically, when scrolling through deals feed, if you tap anywhere and drag up up down, the list moves up and down, but it doesn't "select" whatever you inititially touched unless you do a single tap and release. This is how the app normally behaves for most situations.
However, with certain ads in the feed, the ads will open browser links while scrolling in the feed if your finger initially touches the ad position, even if you don't tap and release. In other words, the ad will open when you tap and drag, if the initial position your finger touches is where the ad is located. This ONLY happens with aliexpress ads.
Please fix this. Unintentionally opening trashy aliexpress ads is super annoying.

Incompetent developers
Font is too big now and ads still open when you scroll on them. Also says “an error occurred” like all the time now. Good news is the app is almost at a CS senior design project level now. Also has extremely choppy scrolling
App is now having an issue where nothing loads. Textbook Slickdeals quality
That time of the year. Ads auto open to generate extra revenue. Devs said they’d look into it 5 years ago but obviously malicious design. Unless they really are that incompetent.
App will reload if I switch to messages app and back. Literally the only 2 apps open. Only happens with SD. 5 years later still looks like the code is written by a newbie. Basic web container would behave better than this
Also it is quite remarkable to me that they push out “bug fixes” updates that don’t actually fix any of the extremely easy to replicate bugs with the app despite submitting bug reports over a year ago. Fascinating really

Slick deals is amazing
Newest update makes app lousy
Why in the world would you remove the quick access to categories. People are not going to use the app if it becomes next to impossible to figure out how to see what they want to see. I’m still mind-blown that someone agreed to the current layout as being the best choice. This is wildly off.
